Ah, the long-awaited "Bits & Boots" video. :)
The sweet, sweet feeling of completing a restoration. Bullet Man will fly again thanks to you! ( And the parts donors) I'm sure the Queen will give you a position as Top Medic for the Action Team! Another top notch video! TOY ON!
You are good at making action figures
Yes! He did the A-Team intro! I love it when he does the A-Team intro! Great job on the restoration. I've been following along. It looks great!
Awesome! Thank you!
What a brilliant restoration. From a bunch of random parts to a brilliant, if somewhat strange, figure.
Thanks.
I had this figure as a kid. I never knew the UK version had the little jets on the back of the boots. Thanks for doing this restoration. I hadn't see this figure up close in years.
Glad you enjoyed it
Not a lot of people like you exist that's what I like your videos cuz you like to restore old toys mostly people throw them away or they give them to Goodwill's
Wish i could find a Bullet Man, great vid
Love the A-Team Intro
I think I would like doing this hobby too . I always wanted to make playsets and accessories for Mego Figures which were my favorite line . Gi Joe was my second favorite . I like to learn new things and have had a prevailing love for old seventies action figures .
He's finally ready for a night out at Studio 54.
Congrats on finishing this Figure! Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love watching these videos having had a lot of Action Man and Star Wars toys as a kid, and these vids provide such a cool nostalgia trip even if I didn't actually own the particular toy featured, (as is the case with Bullet Man, unfortunately!) Top marks on this restoration!
I had a Bullet Man as a wee lad. Yours turned out great!!
Excellent job Dave!
Dave,
Amazing job on this one!👍
I really enjoyed the journey on this restoration!😁 Knowing my luck I would have done all that work getting the arms and head back together and realize the arms were backward!😂😂😂
Simon,
A big thanks for hooking Dave up with the spare parts he needed! Very cool brother👍😁
Brilliant looking figure now he is done Dave! I think you should make him a custom red cape out of your toy knit supply cupboard!
Awesome! Stay safe!
And the results are awesome 😲
Great work! Like I said in my comment on your part 1 video, it is good that you have the correct AM version Bulletman hands, they are molded from AM vintage hard hands and not from Hasbro hard hands 👍🏻 The main differences of AM Bulletman and the Hasbro version are the hands, and the boots, and maybe as a minor difference - the logo sticker position.
Thanks for sharing the final adjustments on this figure! Being a comic book fan, I know Bullet Man from there, but he is a striking action figure. The UK boots with the rocket jets are much cooler looking. I also enjoyed learning about the differences between the UK and the US the Bullet Man chest logo. Tidbits like that are very interesting to learn. The more information that I get about Palitoy toys the more I want to know more about the company and the figures that they produced! Thank you for once again piquing my interest!
Congrats on completing Bullet Man🙂
Great! This is funny enough to share.
He looks great. I kinda like the idea of the character, I hadn't heard of him until I saw part one of your restoration. Would be cool to use those arms on another one seeing as you have another outfit and helmet. Maybe you could get those superman boots after all.
Awesome intro!
Thanks!
Thought I saw this chap at Warhols Factory
Fantastic A Team intro!
Thanks!
Bullet man came a long way, you did a very nice job, Mr Polloi I had wanted to let you know I loaded up a video on how to repair flying fists He-man and terror claws skeletor, I'm not sure if you have repaired one or not, but if you would like to get an idea of how to or to see how I did it, you can check it out to get an idea, I'm going to leave the video up in case someone wants to figure out how to fix it, as always I enjoyed another one of your videos and learned something, thank you
I always thought Bullet Man looked a bit like George Lazenby.
Regarding the Bullet logo on the chest. The humorous reality is the Palitoy U.K. version, has the bullet facing angled (Like the U.S. version) on the box!
It does indeed. They didn't show that to the people making the figure I would guess.
The UK version wins out on 2 fronts with the Palitoy type boots because not only do they look better, they also aren't prone to melting the the legs and feet like those 'skin tight' rubberized boots that the US Bullet Man came with which is due to a chemical reaction between the 2 plastics.
Nice! How's about a video of Bullet Man performing his function-gimmick? I'm sorry Dave but after enjoying Motu's Spidor n the Crimson twins showcase their functions I could only ask.Cheers brother.
I love how people think you dont know what your doing. Lol
Hey, my wife has one of them! Oh wait, yeah, never mind. 😁
I had one of these
Awesome job! Is there a way to restring or tighten the muscle body legs?
There is. But I don't currently have one to work on and show. Cheers
From the 'Baywatch Knights' collection?
I am with Palitoy on the boots . It falls in line wuth A tion man that equipment is important . No super powers for bullet man he is a gadjet man
Perhaps I am just ignorant about Action Man series but should not there be a villain ? Maybe a customized Action Man figure would serve ?
Bullet man hot pants ha ha ha ha sorry but that just cracked me up 😂😂😂!!!!
Newbie Question ? Has anyone thought to do up a villian for Bullet Man . Maybe a Dark Bulletman named Missile Man ? Lol That we be a great way to freshen up a collection with some less than mint extra figures , eh ?
The U.K. boots are so much better than the U.S. version. Congrats on getting him completed.
For real, you were banished from the forums in 2015? (as your intro says)
don't know this figure, you could think it was designed recently
Toy Polloi Do you know any websites where I could get cheap Action man, I just started collecting about a year ago so it would be helpful.
ebay and the facebook groups are still good sources. But you need to be patient to get a good deal as always. Cheers
Thank you so much.
Bulletman looks right at home performing for thirsty bachelorettes.
Same thing happens with Dragon Ball Z figures Irwin toys released two different perfect cells and two different Android 16 one of the perfect cells came like in a chrome color and Android 16 was the same he came in a green tint color those figures are really hard to find a mint box
I like the U.K. Boots better then the ones I had ( Canada).
The boots were the worst part of the American version. Those things were a nightmare to put back on as they were a flexible rubber instead of the rigid molded plastic
Helmet, check. Boots, check. Belt, check. Pants...not THIS action hero!
