With Notoriously Morbid palettes I spray my brush or use a glitter primer. Their shadows are handmade, not like the factory palettes we normally get even from indie brands.
Omg I had the SAME thought process about the cooltrals palette 😂 I'm TERRIFIED of blues! I'd love to see you make them more easier to approach looking forward to seeing what u do!!❤
I have an order from march im waiting on. Phew I know they have had some big changes and the owner had a big health problem and major surgery. Hopefully turn around time picks up soon as she recovers and the changes start kicking in.
I have a lot of NM palettes and none of them are like this. I learned about them from Cara at Beauty and the Frizz, she also goes over in detail how she uses their formula and it was helpful.
Omg I’m sorry I’ve never had this experience! I got the Bog Witch as well and I can’t find it. Now I’m nervous ! My fav ones I have is their Star Wars light side and the seasonal themed ones.
I have the Rusted Essence too and it’s not like that. I know they hand press in house so maybe they didn’t get the binder right? Who knows they sure have been coming out with new stuff , fragrances and car fresheners ( I love those!) and I know they said they are releasing stuff to raise money to pay employees and move to a new location after closing the physical store. I’d email customer service , any time I’ve had to they are always helpful but you have to start on their site , I think. That’s the only palettes I have that you bought. I know Cara says to pat on then lightly blend and the shimmers to pat and swipe and press. I do remember they aren’t known for swatching very well, so I’m guessing their swatches are over a base and applied using a brush.
😳 I just ordered a few palettes from them. I signed the agreement that the turn around time is 20 to 30 days. On day 30 I will be contacting them. I’m not playing this mess again waiting 12 weeks for my products. The shipping delay is what is going to hurt Notoriously Morbid
I tried NM for the first time this year when I ordered the Bog Witch palette. I placed the order in February and didn't get the palette until May. The matte ivory shadow you said was crumbling after you touched it? It was totally destroyed and had exploded all over my palette when it arrived! They said they could send me a replacement single shadow or I could return the palette and they would send me another one. I didn't want to wait that long again, so I opted for the replacement single and cleaned up the palette the best I could. I find the mattes to be very soft and thin, but I haven't had a chance yet to try the palette on my eyes (been super busy as we moved), so we'll see.
That’s unfortunate about Notoriously Morbid. I’ve almost purchased from them a few times, and I’m glad now that I never did. Also, I was surprised when you said Pink Crush Cosmetics. Last I heard they were shutting down I thought last year. They had all of their palettes heavily discounted. I have two of their palettes, and they are alright. Definitely not my favorites.
Not sure how I found them, but I'm pretty sure I purchased those palettes on Etsy. So, they're at least operating a store front there. Don't think I'll be blown away by their quality, but I've been surprised before.
@@KariMeghan I found that the green matte shades had no pigment basically, the darker mattes were ultra pigmented though but not in a good way for me... They ended up under my eyes. Sadly I only like one of the shimmers, I won't wear shimmers that stain.
This is why I don't buy from Menagerie I bought their Flight Club pallet within 6 months it crumbled into dust. And they are not cheap some indie brands are better than others I love Glam light and I find Odin's eyes questionable at best. Glam light you can usually get on sale rather cheap actually Odin's eye wants a lot for their inconsistencies😮
I find the same thing with Oden's Eye. It's the reason I don't buy all of their new releases. I try to be selective as I don't find every one of their palettes consistently amazing.
Notoriously Morbid’s palettes are so disappointing!! I purchased their Weird Vibes palette back in February this year and didn’t receive it until late April. Then when I opened the palette it didn’t look anything like the promo pictures or swatch anything like the swatches on their website or IG pics. The formula for the mattes was thin and not pigmented at all. The metallics/shimmers were crumbly, piecey and dull;not vibrant like the pictures. The sticker on the cover was faded and was coming off. Just bad all around. Never buying from them again.
UA-cam deleted my comment, so I am trying again 👀👀 I wanted to say NM has an O F F S H O O T brand called Spellcast Beauty. They are not handpressed and meant to ship quicker. There are only 2 ppl that I know of who gets PR from them, it might help to check out their playlists to see if NM is the brand for you. Katie @makeup4lossedtime and Dion @dionluvsmakeup (Miss Dion)
Ooh I love these videos so much! Giggling and gushing over shimmers right with you ✨

That kaima pallet is in a league of its own honestly blown away every time I get it out,

The pressure is on!
I couldn’t click on this fast enough when I saw it in my feed. I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you ❤.
I love the indie brands do their shimmers❤❤❤ there's nothing like them and dang I need to get some of those palettes ❤❤❤❤
I have both kaima cosmetics eyeshadow palettes love them both x

I saw your swatches and they looked good. I think that was the palette that swatched the best out of the 4, if I'm remembering correctly.

Yay makeup fun😊

That's how I feel...we'll see. Skepticism runs high.
I love those color stories but I don’t want a palette I have to worry about.

I wonder if they stand behind their products could you send the crumbling ones back ? I sure would ask
I've heard they only send replacement shadows, not the whole palette. Not sure it's worth it to ask and wait another 3 months to receive it.
I love your eye look! What’s on your eyes? The notorious morbid brand 🙈
It's the It's Bel Cosmetics Pixie Grove Palette.
I was so disappointed in the cosmic brushes neutral palette. Some of the shades are staining and some of the mats don't have any pigment
Uh oh. Similar to what I found with the Muse palette.

Thank you for the feedback. I am worried I'm not going to enjoy the formula and I bought 4 palettes!!

Awesome! Thank you for this comment! I will definitely check them all out. Creators and brand!!
