For the rollerball perfumes, I usually decant them in glass bottles with sprayers and just use them like that. Also wow, I haven't seen the elizabeth and james perfumes in awhile. The bourbon one used to be my signature scent for years and then when I went to buy a new bottle I realized its gone.
I haven't tried anything with freesia in that I can remember liking. But you can try fragrantica. If you know a fragrance that has that note, you can look up that fragrance, click the scent note and you'll get a list of fragrances that has that note in too.
Oh, this topic is near and dear to my heart... I am a fraghead. For the Love Chloe, I found a dupe company in Australia that has Love Chloe. It is pretty close! I have the same amount of my original bottle left and wish to keep it, so bought the dupe to wear daily. I wish I could send you a bottle. I confess I have never bought a Jo Malone, though I own over 500 bottles of perfume. But you have me very interested in the English Oak. We share a love of Zadig & Voltaire This is Her! Try the This is Him too. Always gets noticed whenever I wear it. And so happy to see Hermés' Nil. Such a happy, serene garden scent.
@@Esh486 By males, always Youth Dew, Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal edp, Dior Homme (the older one) and Diptyque's Volutes. As well as This is Him! Tobacco, hazy scents. By females, Coco Mademoiselle, BDK's Rouge Smoking, Tauer's Le Maroc Pour Elle and Givenchy's L'Interdit Rouge. All very strong, somewhat sweet scents. Universal dislike of Red Door and White Linen, sadly.
My fragrance collection is one that is not out of control like my eyeshadow is. I have some body splashes/mists van Body Shop (the Jasmine line I love) and Sol de Janeiro (love that "classic"yellow one in the summer and the packaging is plastic, so easy to travel with) . Further I have Gabrielle of Chanel, Signature of Mont Blanc, Deep Red of Hugo Boss, Gorgeous Jasmine of Gucci and Noa of Cacharel. And that is it. I want to buy a lavender scent in France when I'm in the Provence during the summer as a souvenir.
Hi Maaike! I haven’t bought any makeup..at all….since April! I’ve always loved fragrance, but usually only had one at a time. I really shifted my focus from makeup to fragrance last spring. The first one I bought was Angels Share!😂 I did try the Kilian sample set first. I love Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato! I wanted to extend the life of my 100ml bottle, so I recently purchased the Khair Pistachio. Much more affordable, and the comparisons are very favorable! I usually wear up to 3 different fragrances every day. One while I exercise, one later in the day, and one as a sleep scent. My favorite Chanel is Coco edp. I like, but don’t love, Mademoiselle. I’m passing it along to my granddaughter to try. I bought Dior Sauvage for my husband….. also love it. 😊 I’ve always loved traditionally male fragrances. I loved the video!💛
I still prefer makeup over fragrance for sure. Glad you love Angel's Share. I love my bottle as well but I went through several samples and a few times I tested it out on my skin too to make sure I loved it because that is one pricey perfume.
I have very few that i love and rebuy them over and over again! I don't like sweet / fruity or fresh on me! My fragrances are strong , woody autumnul !
@@FloatinginDreams i actually am into middle eastern fragrances who took the youtube by assault last 2 years 😄! I could recommend: Lattafa Pride- ishq al shuyukh gold Al Haramain- Junoon oud Lattafa Ameer al Oudh Intense Lattafa Oud Mood Lattafa Khamrah Al Haramain- Amber Oud Al Haramain-Tobacco Lattafa Eternal Oud Honourable mentions: Lattafa Fakhar Gold Extrait Lattafa Raghba Lattafa Pride - Tharwah Gold Armaf Clud de nuit Armaf Clud de nuit Intense and the list can go on and on. I like also to mix these with white floral, sweet perfumes. I would also like to mention Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto/ Roberto Cavalli ( i think they repackaged this in Signature ) and Paraiso . The honourable mentions from MEF are dupes for very popular scents but a fraction of a price. The MEF perfumes can go from 15 up to 60 euros depending what you want , usually come in 60/100 even 200 ml bottles! ❤️ The thing with these fragrances is they need time, i buy a bottle spray up to 10 times and then let them sit in dark for at least 2 months !
I have wrote a comment few days ago but it seems it wasn't added here ! I use middle eastern fragrances for years but they becoming more popular now, they have tons of woody , spicy fragrances i recommend Lattafa, Kadjal, Afnan, Swiss Arabian,Shagaf, Paris Corner and Armaf brands , there are plenty of reviews on UA-cam with tons of perfumes who perform amazing and are really affordable! My current favourites are Lattafa Oud Mood and Shagaf Tonka Oud ( this is a little pricey but i really enjoy it). I like also some mainstream ones like Coco Moidmoiselle, YSL Libre intense ,Dior Poison for winter months ! Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto, Roberto Cavalli and Paraiso plus my favourite fragrance for over 10 years is So Elixir ( gold bottle) from Yves Rocher but last 2 times i've brought it wasn't performing so nice !
You've got a great fragrance collection 🤩I've been trying to pare mine down to only the ones I love, but I still have a lot of "maybes" languishing in a cupboard, unfortunately. I never had "Stella" but I hear quite a few people reference it as their favourite rose scent, or the only rose scent that worked for them. I have "Miss Charming" by Julitette has a Gun, which is supposed to be similar to "Stella," but I can't know for sure 🌹Take care and have a great weekend!
I looked them both up on Fragrantica and some people say they are similar, others say they are not. It certainly has some different notes as it seems to have fruity notes.
Miss Charming has a slick, plasticky strawberry note to it that sounds terrible, but I kind of enjoy it in a nostalgic way. It's like a rose perfume crossed with a new doll smell. I suspect "Stella" smelled a little more refined, based on its note difference@@FloatinginDreams.
I first discovered this while in college. A fellow female music student smelled absolutely stunning in Dior’s Fahrenheit- long before they reformulated it. ❤️❤️❤️
Last year, I discovered Maison Margiella. I own and love Whispers in the Library, Jazz Club, By the Fireplace and Coffee Break. I also got myself the When the Rain Stops for Christmas, but I'm on the fence about that one. Some of my old time favourites are Allure by Chanel, Addict by Dior, Samsara by Guerlain and Arpège by Lanvin. I still prefer the original Black Opium over other versions. Nothing wrong with a good scent targeted at men, love Khouros by YSL or Bleu de Chanel by Chanel for example. Fragrances I don't like and that I can't rehome, find their way into my toilet to be used as refreshener (does a better job than those bottles with fake pine or lavender scent).
I'm glad that you didn't call Angels' Share a "boozy apple pie" scent like so many perfume UA-camrs do! There's no apple note in it and it's misleading and just plain dumb to claim that it smells like that.
People really do that? I know the brand has a fragrance called Apple Brandy from the same line. I imagine that would smell like apples but Angels' Share? No way. It's just boozy richness.
@@FloatinginDreams They do! I don't want to name names, but a handful of them say that. Apple Brandy does for sure smell like apple and booze, but not Angels' Share. Boozy richness indeed! I get a lot of cinnamon, too. Great perfume.
My boyfriend called it a cinnamon-apple pie scent and I had not shown him any notes or given him any suggestions before that. So I think some may find that note in there. I have not tried it on my skin yet, hope I will enjoy it.

For years I have been looking for the perfect freesia scent that actualy smells like the real flowers. Never found it so suggestions are welcome!

They are simply better than women's fragrances.
