So here's the story in full scope... I agreed to play with Orski but i had to talk to the event organizers - when i came back to the table my seat had been filled (It was in fact my fault for not confirming as later on i discovered that person was there to chit chat only ) - so then i find a different game only realizing the truth above later, so i awkwardly dragged Orski to my new game to make up for my earlier mistake - then CJ comes over to tell me that Paul Dennen had liked the idea of the interview match (I actually asked him for a match after the interview but i think he and the others probably thought of it as a cooler way to interview) - so unfortunately i had to leave my game there too I apologize Orski, please leave my alliances and combats alone...I don't want to be Raid Boss Lanni anymore :P
Fun fact that that shows my age - I had never heard of Mr. Beast. When I heard reference to “Beast” I thought it was a rival online player community or something. I spent half the event wondering how the heck Dire Wolf could justify the expense of the event. Mystery solved! Event was amazing. Great to meet you and to discover we’re both far south Jersey guys. Looking forward to PAX Unplugged in Philly in December. ✌️😎✌️
Can confirm that going in on all of Lannister's combats and victories is a strategy - albeit one that I apparently do accidentally every time I play him.
Mr Beast being involved is so great for the hobby. Every time I watch one of your Dune vids I want to no life Dune and learn all the meta tricks. Wish my wife would indulge me more often. Thanks for sharing your experience.
That is so cool that Mr Beast walks within the same circles as us. He is a big nerd after all I suppose and how cool to do a board game tourney with the new game! Your excitement and enthusiasm for the game has me super keen to get it and play already. Also, Lannister has always been a very nice person to everybody, so obviously he must have a vendetta against you or something. High-level, high-profile Dune board game beef is something this community has been lacking I think. When I hear of players being ranked, where is that controlled? Is that a TTS list? I haven't played Dune online, so curious how rankings are determined.
Hey Orski Just want to get your opinion on something. Some Dune: Imperium fans seem to think that the best way to play the game will be Dune:Imperium Uprising+Immrotality+Tech cards from Rise of Ix. The reason being that Uprising kind of integrates a lot of ideas from Rise of Ix into the base game just in different ways (Worms instead of Dreadnaughts, Spies instead of infiltration cards etc), with the exception being the Tech Cards that you could add in anyway. What do you think? Do you think this is accurate? Many thanks
One other question please Orski - what do you think is the BEST way to pick leaders? Do you think the method used in this tournament (reverse picking order, and one leader added each time) is the best? Ty!
Haha! Hi Orski! I didn't get to take a photo with you :( That's why I had to pull the direwolf photo Bit sad we didn't get to play a game as well, but my weekend was a bit crazy due to the limited hours I was there! IF theres a next time, lets get a game together!

Yeah, you don't look that high on the stream, though the photo clearly shows the difference between you and that traitor Lanni =) I believe there must be a way to negotiate with Direwolf to sub that not very great photo with another. Glad you were invited and happy to hear that people were not sweating or being douchebags over the money. That shows that the people invited valued healthy relationships. Behavior like that inspires others to follow and that can't be more important.
If you make a video with a review of the game, that would be nice. Do you like the worm? Are the cards nice. Before there was lot of comb with the bene and the freeman, is there new nice combo between cards or alliance? @@orski78

Were you playing vanilla uprising or was it uprising + base dune?
99% of the games played were uprising only.
