knights of the round table are very much like justice league (or avengers) each and every one of them has a unique background and list of accomplishments
Same here. Of all the characters from Arthurian legends I always felt Percival was the one I could relate to the most. The idea of the character going from naive misfit to one of Arthur's legendary knights always fascinated me.
@@borntogazeintonightskies The way he was so eager to become a knight...that's me; I'd be just as excited, if I crossed paths with a knight of the Round Table
Percival means: "piercing through the valey". He was the one who touched the Holy Grail because Holy Grail means the equilibrium between the 2 valleys (one is matter represented by the bread, body of Christ) and the other one is the soul (purified by the blood of Christ represented by the wine). Only by trespassing the valley, can one touch the Spirit (God). All attachments must be left behind and the Ego/ shadow must be integrated.
The only Galahad I know so far is the one that has black and violet armor, has one of his eyes covered because of his hair, along with King Solomon's sword that he never uses. And a shield bigger than himself that is shaped like a cross, and can summon Camelot to literally defend him along with his companions. And for some reason, dresses girls up in clothes that reveal some interesting parts of their bodies like making them put on metal skirts when they fuse with each other (Don't worry about it) and making their age more older for some reason.
I can’t wait for him to become the aurthurian guardian for smite when he gets released for that pantheon. I want the rest of em released soon too. The Arthurian lore is literally the best.
As someone who has created his own version of Arthurian canon from sewn together pieces of all various aspects of Arthurian Legend (books, myths, movies, games, etc.), Percival plays a very interesting role in my Arthurian Canon. When I was creating my canon, one area I was kind of having trouble with was the Holy Grail. In some versions Galahad retrieves the Grail, but in other versions its Percival who does so. So I decided the best way to solve this was to combine the two: It takes BOTH of them to retrieve and even HANDLE the Grail, because it is too pure for a single person to handle.
That is a fun interpretation. Mine was Percival finds the grail but it is Galahad who carries it to Camelot, for Percival did not want to risk being taken to heaven before his time or out of love of his family. I like yours better though. It could also feed into the flaw of Lancelot, as he too found the grail a few times in Arthurian tales, but was always unable to take it. Could be because he ventured on his own and in turn his overconfidence in his status as the greatest knight he was alone each time he found it, thus could not lift or handle it.
There needs to be a movie about the "KOTRT" leave KA and L out of the first movie, so Percival and the other well known Knights can make be brought into the light. There are so many stories and adventures to tell.
um i have a question can you so stuff not from the medieval european judeo stuf people usually come to this channel to hear about stuff they usually havn't heard about before not usually the christian stuff. just a question
