I saw this lot 'live' supporting U2 at the Hammersmith Palais... .. And it wasn't even a full house when U2 came on. There was actually space on that old wooden dance floor the Palais had in front of the stage....!! It was half-empty to see U2... God, what year was that? 1980 or 1981??
I'm pretty sure that Terry Sharpe was the vocalist, who went on to front the Adventures in the 1980s (Broken Land, Feel the Raindrops, etc.). Pat Gribben, the guitarist in the Adventures, may also have played in the Starjets at one point.
In 1979 there was a second hand store that sold the album for $0.25 and they had about at least 100 of them. I bought one and I don't remember what I did with it. The second hand store was in Garden Grove California
The fact that this song is not listed on Spotify is criminal
I was at a gig with them in 1978 at Marquee in London. Very good band that were never too known. Very good, they were.
Might have been 1979.
Banger! Found about it from Green Day and I'm glad I did.
Tremendous. Still one of the most tremendous tunes ever. Hanx x
One of the best punk songs ever imho
That takes me back , Belfast 1979 , excellent stuff
This and do anything you wanna do by Eddie and the hot rods two of the most powerful new wave/punk singles
This takes me back, Garden Grove 1979.

I have the single. It's got a tank on it. Cartoon style.
Yes, God Bless the Starjets was their LP, it's on that with the equally great "Any Danger Love"
I’ve got the 45 on the epic label

Nobody will ever know anything about this band, their legacy will be lost in music history, because this isn't on Spotify.
That's right pal , my misses was asking me what the best song about war was and I tried to find it on Spotify only to end up here .
They were very very underrated
Anyone got a Spotify link?
