Halloween 5 is EASILY among the top 3 in the franchise. There has never been a film of this quality that absorbs such ABSURD criticism. This becomes even more apparent when you think about what the rest of this series IS...Movies that are based on the original motif? There are only FOUR...1, 2, 4, and 5. The rest are all over the place....3 is a different concept....Zombie did white trash remakes....6 put Michael in a cult(and the Producer's Cut went even further, placing LOOMIS under their supervision, as well)...Resurrection brought in reality tv and Busta Rhymes...and the rest were just excuses to bring Jamie Lee back in her misbegotten quest to play Sarah Connor instead of Laurie Strode(I almost expect to see her doing a robust set of chinups)... If you respect the original premise...of Michael Myers stalking people, and Loomis stalking HIM...Halloween 5 is not only one of the best...it's one of the ONLY...
