Is this good for run and gun shoots? Does it automatically turn on the microphone when you turn on the Sony camera? Or do you have to wait and pair it all the time? I want to get this one but I’m afraid to miss Vlog shots if I need to wait for it to pair compared to a normal shotgun mic. Would love an answer since I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks mate.
They have on/off switches since they will drain battery if left connected. Sounds like you need the ecm-m1, that’s what I use and it turns on with the camera and has front/back mode
no worries mate!! those mics are phenomenal and have awesome internal recording backup capabilities! i didn’t think i needed that, but it makes a huge difference. honestly i’d be looking to get the sony for the wirefree setup if it had that feature
@@harrywitz.mp4dji mic 2 have camera interface for Sony to revord with no 3.5 trs cable. But the Sony transmitter can output a stereo mic. I don’t know if Dji transmitter (only one) can transmit stereo.?

Dont think it works wireless with the zv1… The last simular model didnt.

Nope! Sony sent them to me pre release to check out so I had to send them back
The New MI adaptor for the DJI Mic 2 removes any reason to purchase this Sony set IMO
