Thanks guys for this video. I’m in the process of buying hob and oven from the Uk to ship them to ghana but I guess I need to wait as I’m will in ghana in February. Really want the oven with the gas. Prices in Uk are on the higher side with the gas ovens.

It seems like buying the land, paying for fees, documents cost, architect cost and building your wall and foundation is the easy part.
From what I gather from these videos, when the structure is going up or completed.. that’s when the real cost start to add up!!
But it’s good for people like you and I who want to build our homes.. it gives us a reality check on our expectations..

Kwame, Interplast does PVC products however, they do windows too. Go to their factory/showroom at Spintex and check them out. They do some good stuff although a bit pricey. UCT is displaying more stuff than when we were there a couple of weeks ago. We even saw solar panels at UCT.

Kitchen blocks are normally very cheap, you can also get all appliances by yourself from Amazon which makes it even much cheaper. But you have to have an eye for design to put it all together. Frankly their prices seem ok but not cheap.

They are both comparable to be fair but I would say Kimo is a little cheaper on tiles.

in the kitchen was $239 dollars per Sq. Meter!!, that's $22 per Sq. Foott!!!!! Y'all!!!!😮. That's High..High...High end stuff and I'm out!!!! 🏃♂️.

That's because nothing in this shop is made in Ghana. We just love anything we didn't produce. Goes back when the first Europeans set foot in Sub-Saharan Africa 400 years ago. We happily continue creating jobs and improving the lives of other people. Way to go Africa!
