I've been going back over all your shave logic videos because I have been really considering giving it a try. But somehow I missed this one. I know these are a little older but still some of my favorites.
Multi blades will always win in regards to the closest shave. However, there is a reason so many of us switched to a single blade. Ingrown hairs. As for the Twig, I love it and use it every one to two days. I do have a warning though. Once I loaded a new blade and didnt notice one edge wasnt sitting properly when I tightened it down and at a glance it looked fine. Then I started below the burn and raked my skin about an inch long and boy did it hurt. I easily reset the blade but all I can say is pay attention. Twig is still the best one blade option for me.
Love your reviews - because of your reviews, I decided to give the Shavelogic a try. I've tried so many cartridge razors and a Rockwell double-edge. I really like the style of a double edge, but I could never get good enough at shaving to get it without nicking myself like crazy. I'm not patient enough either. So I went back to trying to find a good cartridge razor. I have skin prone to bumps, and with the Shavelogic, I barely would get any nicks, just on pre-existing bumps. I've tried Harry's, Defender, Gillete Skinguard, and Sensor Excel (among others) and Shavelogic is my preference. I was a little concerned because recently I kept seeing that their cartridge refills were unavailable, but just saw that they are now.
I use the Merkur 42c closed with derby blades for shaving my head and face. It has the same head as the 34c but for less money. It's a win win all around!
I love my leaf AND my twig, twig is just amazing. The one thing I noticed is you REALLY have to look at the blade gap / evenness. I must have loaded 1 of the 3 in the leaf the wrong way and it look like a badger came out and ripped my face off. I did not FEEL a thing, just opened up all sorts of weepers all at once. I noticed the twig has less capability to do this because just the 1 blade won't be "off" I do need to try the Shavelogic though.... this shaving habit gets spendy lol.
They're both good but one $12 pack of 50 Twig blades and I can shave for almost a year...or I can get 50 Feather blades for 17 bucks and snap them in half and I'm good for about 2 years. $18 for 4 Shavelogic cartridges would last me maybe 2 months.
Love your videos very informative think i'll get a twig, have you ever considered using more organic products? Gillette products have a lot of harmful chemicals would be cool to see a video rating organic products
They are both my pick for their respective category. So if you enjoy a single or DE shave - go with the TWIG and if you’re a cartridge shaver SHAVELOGIC takes the cake!

I’ll do a shavelogic shave soon just for you, brah!
@@averageguytested that would be cool. Thanks man.

👍🏽 I’ve had the same issue and agree with you 100%

Good to know that the blades are available. I believe that amazon Carrie’s them too! Thanks for watching!

On average, how often would you say that you shave? And would you recommend to do it daily or maybe every other day?
I’ve been shaving every day (Monday- Friday) lately - with a break on the weekends. It’s been much easier and enjoyable. Thanks for watching 👋🏽
Hey Tony why don't you compete it against the Mach 3 turbo to see what's better
Coming soon!

It’s a hobby that certainly can bleed 🩸 your wallet, my friend. Thanks for watching!
Good video i,I, thinking about getting a shave logic
I love SHAVELOGIC! let me know if you do too!
Tony what's your favourite aftershave? Duke cannon ice cold or cremo ice cold aftershave?
I’ll go with the Duke!!!
Tried the Thorn?
Yes. I did a review of it and compared it to the TWIG
@@averageguytested awesome. I ❤️ the Thorn. I have the SL5 on green way.
Another win for the SHAVELOGIC S5 razor. Tony, thanks for doing your videos. Both razors look amazing. I love new shaving products.
Me too, Ed! Thanks for your support!

Yes - no doubt the DE blades will save you lots of cash, but if you’re a cartridge shaver - the Shavelogic SL5 is worth a good long look.
How's it going brah? Another excellent video 📹 👏 phil from the UK 🇬🇧
What’s up, Phil?
@@averageguytested what's up brah? I'm good thank you sir just work as usual LOL enjoy your videos 📹
Great review as always. Yes, I'm definitely sticking with cartridge razors - good advice!

Thanks. I’ll look at that, but Gillette has started to produce more natural products worth their SKIN line and GilletteLabs shaving gel
Sorry but in my time it's about 3:30 in the morning so I can't be present in the chat
Ha ha # Gora

@@averageguytested thank you my friend
Yeah almost All cartridge shavers feel that way
Yup
I didn’t expect the Leaf to fall to the Shavelogic 😬. I guess we’re just gonna have to put it up against the infamous….MACH…..3….TURBO!!!!!!
Mach 3 turbo will defeat that razor I am almost sure
It doesent. With a safety razor you just have to find the right blade.
That’s true

Great video Tony but you're not supposed to shave your lips LOL.
😂😂😂
A fine looking shave, after the first pass looked pretty even, so one blade does the same as five🤔 I think I’ll stick to the Twig. Take care.
Cheers🍻
Yes - the TWIG is a good choice indeed.
I don’t know if I can watch any more of your videos. You are damaged goods. Nice video.
What?
@@averageguytested Damaged goods in that you got nicked a few times. Just kidding around.
