Yeah he does keep it real. This new show on Showtime called "roadies" stars him in it. He's actually a pretty good actor. It was cool cause when we had the Cavs parade with over a million people downtown, he was on top of a truck rapping in the parade. I was right up in front during the parade and it was fucking awesome!!!! Go Cleveland!!!
At about 19:26 he references a kid telling him to "do something crazy" at the meet and greet, this is either the second or third time he's said something about that kid. I bet that kid feels insane haha.
i'm really stocked about the movie and the new album , kell is the greatest guy in the industry he really speaks what's on his mind he is true to himself and tha's why he is a roll model! just an honnest dude who apreceates where he's at and respect all who love him! he truly is my hero he said he wasn't happy bout the first album but if the second album is half as great as the first it still be one of my fav! EST for life!! hope he'll do an european tour after the drop of the second album cause i'm really exited to see him back here in belgium!
I am surprised, I have heard on repeated occasions where people talk about how inspirational MGK has been in their lives weather it be a thick chick who has taken relentless insults/ bashing for being heavy, a kid who is constantly bullied and so on.. I am a newer MGK fan, that was introduced to his music by my ex-wife who lives for all music in general.. We still kinda hang out to an extent and when I pick her up to run her around trying to put pieces of her life back together ( recovering heroin, meth, coke, pill addict) because I have an insane system on my X5 she has to constantly has to crank up whatever the new genre is for her ( currently MGK )..At 1st I didn't much care for what song she repeatedly played (Alpha Omega) but for some reason I stumbled over a song (wild boy) I had downloaded way back for the neat and sound not caring who it was at the time, so it got me sampling his stuff on youtube.. Now I absolutely love some of his music but more so his personal world he lives in... It couldn't be any more opposite to the current norm in our society! That was the hook for me.. His click (Est) which even in a non-stereotypical world kinda segues
cont from top accidentally dropped phone and sent b4 complete..... defies what some of the barriers we face or accept..For some it is still not excepted... A 6'4 ft white dude (Rapper) who dresses like a punk music follower with an extremely diverse core of friends (family).. If u havent you gotta watch his "Lace Up documentary" & even better " Naked almost Famous" which sealed the me becoming a "MGK/ EST" fan.. I've never laughed so hard and on a few occasions in a few extremely dark depressed moments turned that on and it pulled me outta it within the 90 or more minutes it runs for!!! Most would say MGK is the only reason his EST crew is on the public national stage and in talent maybe so short of "Rook" his insane Justin Bieber lookalike drummer but you can see by the closeness they show that without them he would not be what he is becoming. ( No disrespect intended to his EST crew ) Back to my curiosity b4 rambling on I am not able to see the link between MGK and these fans who seem to expresAfghanistanring from not being socially accepted in the different "clicks" (over weight, weak, weird, etc.) Have I missed some type of "message" these kids are hearing? song or otherwise? ..... By the way, Im 37 now ex-military combat vet both Iraq & Afghanistan, father, 2 years sober (Oxy, Rxy, Heroin, Meth, alcohol after Honorable discharge 10 years 03-13 )Grew up being a typical douch bag to the "nerds, weirdo, Gothic" kids realizing as an adult thankfully early on as my old school "click" largely stayed the same, that I really deprived myself of ** REAL FRIENDSHIPS*** that people from all those other groups of kids young adults were actually insanely cool!!!! But again the question as it gets lost in me rambling... whats the link between MGK & these kids/ young adults in this message apparently hear in his lyrics
