Do a strat where two people use the same name and the exact same car, and one ballchases as much as possible (literally balls to the walls) and the other just fake challenges and plays semi normal, but a bit more defensive.

I think this works so well partly because there’s no rotation to think about. The striker can just go for everything without having to worry about leaving the net open. An extra level of confidence with 0 hesitation

I mean, pro plays are a whole lot different and tbh more “normal” , the way they played is basically a 3v3 strat minus the middle man, but i mean even then content creators most of the time are just as good as pros, and if not they’re not far behind.

Strat 1 works so well, cause if you're like me, you gauge the other teams skill for the first minute or so before going "full force" to figure out where and when you can attack, so if you get used to one style and then change your style halfway through, its mentally challenging for sure.

You guys should look up rotations, it's common to leave a "last man back" to cover shots but they're not supposed to stick in net. It's better if they're closer to the play as your team pushes forward, but still far enough back to catch a stray ball if your team misses a 50-50 or something.

I think if the pros come prepared that this strategy would not work; the main reason it worked so well is it caught people off guard since musty would give so much space on defense and they wouldn't know what to do so they'd just throw it away. There were a bunch of 2v1 situations where the opponent didn't use their teammate at all so musty just saved it. If they were playing against a more structured team I doubt it would work

I mean what both strats basically did is stopping you getting scored on from overextending. If you just play a passive and defensive playstyle you'll have similar results

I like being able to hear you hit the buttons I been trying to get harder hits. Knowing exactly when you hit dodge is nice.
Strategy Suggestion: 3s
-Player 1
- Actively going for bumps/demos, anywhere on the field, and stealing boost on opponents side of the field. Can be occasionally offense and defense.
-Player 2
- Active offense, always advancing/challenging the ball. Almost never goalie/defense.
-Player 3
- Active Defense, can clear, outward pass, but stays in net.
The sound edits on this were actually funny. Positively surprised, especially on a rocket league video

The fact that they are high GC and freaking out about playing pros makes me feel like i still have so much further to go at C2
Can't tell about RL but I've played against actual pros in LoL and there's like an entire world between really good players and pros.
The difference between a low GC and a pro is the same as a diamond and a GC
And that's in MMR, and as a C2 in sure you've noticed that the higher you are the more skill MMR represents (i.e. the Gap between a diamond 1 and diamond 2 is very small but between a C2 and C3 is very big, but both gaps are ~100 MMR. So diamond and GC have the same MMR gap as GC and pro but you also have to consider that 100MMR at pro level is a LOOOOOT more than 100MMR at diamond)
my friend is like "yeah i am top 100, but i am still bad" all the time and I am just like WTF are you talking about, you are top 100 in a game with more than 40 million players.

Me and my friend just tried a strategy similar to the 2nd one but not exactly because we arent as mechanically skilled and we went on a 7 game winning streak but then he had to go 7-0 run. Really does work because then it forces the guy in the back (me) to make smart rotations, earlier rotations to slow the ball down to pass or clear/give my team8 time, give my team8 space, and me to make way smarter touches. Loved the video a long time ago but now finally tried it and it was amazing

The first strategy is very dangerous because its almost always a 1v1, for example if the attacker attacks but it doesnt work, it could be that the person cannot come back in time to help, then a 1v1 is created like when attacking
these strats were super good i usually use the second one and it works pretty well

I have been playing like your 2nd strategy my whole life ,actually that's what I thought rocket league 2s is about(With some exceptions).For example,when I am 90%+ sure I have a shot in attack while being the defender,I would go for it,and if I see it's not going to be a good one,then I am just gonna give the ball height to give time to my mate to redirect to the defense.

In second strategy you just removed hesitation between switching roles. This makes faster plays and gives up to 30% more accuracy. It should be naturally extend by adding ability for defensive player to demand switching roles. It was clearly seen that in some cases defender had really great opportunities to attack and it should say "switch roles" and attacker should immediately start defensive position, waiting for his time to switch.
That way you could put even more pressure on and still have all benefits of forced roles, keeping in mind that only defender could call "switch".

lmao this also feels how i play with one friend, because i was c3 an he was plat when i adopted hin. so im so used to be the one saving all and he can go mokey mode. Now he is around c2 so we have beat some gc's even if were shouldnt be supposed to. Sometimes its easier to win marches against c3s and low gcs with this guy than when im solo queueing
Basically one person always has the ball and the other protects that player by bumping//demoing the opponents
