The reason why you get spotted if you walk next to or behind a Twisted is because the PLAYER has a “detection radius” around them, not the Twisteds, and the size of the player’s “detection radius” is determined by how much Stealth you have. You can try it yourself, try walking behind a Twisted as Brightney, then try walking behind a Twisted as Toodles (or Cosmo), you have to get much closer to the Twisted for them to see you, since the “detection radius” is attached to YOU, not to the Twisteds.

I learn how to distract sprout and I know what place to kite all twisted characters just go to floor 100 in Astro’s room! And you can kite all twisted but not pebble tho and same with glisten. Tho the slower twisteds are shrimpo and Finn but to distract scraps and goob you need to rap around in the box if you get to far doge there power rage and still get them when your distracting the rest of twisteds to survive goob and scraps when your not a distracter like Tisha flutter goob or pebble you just rap around and hide from there power rage. This is a controversial opinion but I really do hope that distracting/kiting gets either changed drastically or completely patched out in the beta or full game. It's very clearly not an intended part of the game and literally lowers the value of the second type of character you could pick from, like speed heavy characters good for one time distractions really aren't seen as useful which is sad because they were very clearly the second thing that the game was made around. Like Goobs distracting/kiting literally have no reason to use their active ability other then when they are in the elevator when it's panic mode. The same goes for Pebble but they are at least able to use their ability way better although I feel like a lot of Pebble players come off as really toxic and I think a huge part of that is because the game wasn't made with this system in mind. It's abusing the faults of the game but also is the only way to get farther in the game which just feels so weird. Like there needs to be some real reworks with how the games difficulty works because needing a distractor/kiter to get farther in the game shouldn't be a thing from the way I see it. I don't think they made this game with the thought in mind that people would spin around certain areas of the map and almost completely forgot about their active abilities just so their team can see the higher number floors. The final thing I would say is how I don't think Twisted Vee will be nerfed even if they keep distracting/kiting in the game because it actively ruins on purpose that system so people have to do one time distractions to help others with that certain Twisted instead of them just being completely removed from the floor other then one restricted area on the map. This is something that other Twisteds have as well and this makes it so one time distractions are still very useful so I don't know why people don't see use in them. I guess that's what it really comes down to, how people don't see value in an intended aspect of the game but do see value in something that was accidental. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but I feel like it is grossly connected with how the system the game currently has with how it handles floor difficulty is broken and needs a rework.

I play Pebble a lot, usually carrying my team up to floor 30+, but whenever I play any character OTHER than Pebble, I find my teammates dying REALLY early, and I honestly can’t even tell if the game is just too hard, or if most players are just… well… bad at it? Perhaps the game should be balanced so that a distractor isn’t NECESSARY to reach high floors, since as of now, the chances of reaching Floor 30 or higher without any kind of distractor is PITIFULLY low.

But this is coming from a person whose only distraction character is Flutter, so you know more about this than me for sure. My brother and I immediately thought that he would be a support type character going off of his active ability and Scraps would be a sacrifice type character going off of her ability but no that's not really the case. Scraps really needs a buff or something btw. Her ability feels way too hard to use, and when Glisten is a pretty much better version of her, I don't see why people would want to use her. Anyway, I've seen Goobs grab me for no reason and ones where I think they were trying to help me because I was about to walk into a Twisted but that was at the start of the floor so I would have been fine. Still, this one completely awful scenario that happened to me made me form the opinion I have now about this all. I was in a round with a Pebble and Goob, we got to a blackout floor in that tiny green museum room aka the one with the Toon Handler photos. Then for some reason there was a Twisted Pebble here and when it started chasing me I desperately made my way to the Goob. Now this was a bad idea because I was Brightney but I still had some stamina left and this was still when I didn't really know how Twisted Pebbles fully worked but I was hoping Goob would be able to help me somehow. What he did was consume all three of his candies and run off away from me without even trying to grab me. This was in the Toon Handler room so we could have went in opposite directions or better yet, he could have stood in place or ran into room after I ran away. There was a clear line of sight for me from what I remember because this was near the islands in that room, but I wasn't behind them, and I think I would have been able to make it or at least wouldn't have had Pebbles just take out one of my two hearts instead of both. I remember being so so mad at this when I was running away the best I could right after the Goob left me for dead and it got worse that after they finished the floor, the Pebble told me I had to move around an island which yeah was right, with how I was able to out run him for a little bit then I might have made it out of them if I just played smarter. But then when the Goob completely ignored me when I said "Goob ;-;" in chat after I died to talk about how hard that room is with a blackout and Twisted Pebbles I got super annoyed by that because he just focused on himself there instead of even attempting to help me. Like yeah that combination is a nightmare but him just leaving me for dead still left a sour taste in my mouth. Edit: I forgot that he also said, "It's worse if you have low stealth like Brightney, for example," when he was in the elevator after I died, which just felt like a slap in the face. Also, when I ran to him, there were literally no Twisteds nearby, so I guess Pebble was dealing with them.

My brother and I immediately thought that he would be a support type character going off of his active ability and Scraps would be a sacrifice type character going off of her ability but no that's not really the case. Scraps really needs a buff or something btw. Her ability feels way too hard to use, and when Glisten is a pretty much better version of her, I don't see why people would want to use her.
Anyway, I've seen Goobs grab me for no reason and ones where I think they were trying to help me because I was about to walk into a Twisted but that was at the start of the floor so I would have been fine. Still, this one completely awful scenario that happened to me made me form the opinion I have now about this all.
I was in a round with a Pebble and Goob, we got to a blackout floor in that tiny green museum room aka the one with the Toon Handler photos. Then for some reason there was a Twisted Pebble here and when it started chasing me I desperately made my way to the Goob.
Now this was a bad idea because I was Brightney but I still had some stamina left and this was still when I didn't really know how Twisted Pebbles fully worked but I was hoping Goob would be able to help me somehow. What he did was consume all three of his candies and run off away from me without even trying to grab me. This was in the Toon Handler room so we could have went in opposite directions or better yet, he could have stood in place or ran into room after I ran away. There was a clear line of sight for me from what I remember because this was near the islands in that room, but I wasn't behind them, and I think I would have been able to make it or at least wouldn't have had Pebbles just take out one of my two hearts instead of both.
I remember being so so mad at this when I was running away the best I could right after the Goob left me for dead and it got worse that after they finished the floor, the Pebble told me I had to move around an island which yeah was right, with how I was able to out run him for a little bit then I might have made it out of them if I just played smarter. But then when the Goob completely ignored me when I said "Goob ;-;" in chat after I died to talk about how hard that room is with a blackout and Twisted Pebbles I got super annoyed by that because he just focused on himself there instead of even attempting to help me. Like yeah that combination is a nightmare but him just leaving me for dead still left a sour taste in my mouth.
Edit: I forgot that he also said, "It's worse if you have low stealth like Brightney, for example," when he was in the elevator after I died, which just felt like a slap in the face. Also, when I ran to him, there were literally no Twisteds nearby, so I guess Pebble was dealing with them.
@@Alinctaxy0709 Get out of here, you little humongous; let's not forget I was the first person out of the two of us to see Twisted Dandy. Even if I died the worst way possible, thinking he wouldn't see me in a small area as he walked by.
