kings no defense and when their scoring is off they have no chance of winning. no toughness in the team.

Exactly, playoff teams are going to slow your offense down to 100-110 a game. Your defense has to step up to keep you in games. The media is already spinning the narrative to help McNair keep his job.Mike Brown needs players who can have a niche on defense.Sabonis other than rebounding is awful but McNair is trying to ignore his weakness.A defensive center who on offense can step out and shoot or play from the outside is needed. The perimeter players being blamed is due to them having to clog the paint so Sabonis doesn’t get dunked on every time they drive to the basket and then throw it out to shooters who are planted for a 3.Coach knows Sabonis is very limited defensively.Brooke Lopez/JJJ/Ayton/Valeciunas/Vucevic just put a body to someone defensively.

The “no toughness” narrative is BS and played out. We have a small team but doesn’t mean they aren’t tough, they wouldn’t have a top starting 5 defense at the 20 game mark . Who is soft on this team because I don’t see it, and when we are getting beat defensively it’s not even in the paint it’s from the three. We kill teams in the paint and we are in the top of offensive rebounds. You can’t be soft and be in that range in the league. We made Houston look soft the other night. Is it because we don’t have a bunch of yappers? Yappers show weakness not toughness

@@robertduran413while its easy to blame McNair, how do u know what deals are out there that would want what we want ? What trade assets on this team even have value ? Because the guys u mentioned sure more than likely have better offers for them or simply we don’t have contracts to match unless ur willing to break the core or lose depth. You said a center that can play defense and step out to the three… the only guy that makes sense u mentioned is JJJ. But that’s a perfect world since JJJ can play PF still for offense . But other than that. Vucevic? You mean the worse defensive center in the league? The guy is literally lunch meat for centers when going at him, that’s literally why bulls want to move from him because he gives no defense whatsoever so ever. Ayton is soft as hell and can’t shoot. Orlando Robinson can shoot better than him and defintely not as soft. Valencunis isn’t even eligible for trade yet, but if we get a center Val would be great OFF THE BENCH since he has a low contract and some mins with domas would be alright. But other than that, it wouldn’t make sense whatsoever to spend high money on a center if it’s not JJJ or Myles turner especially in the middle of the season , if u do that tho like I said we lose depth which is what we need the most. But say we do add a center, like the other guys u mentioned okay so now sabonis guards PF on perimeter that leaves us with the same problem.. Sabonis would get beat from the perimeter and would still cause help and center would have to do what Sabonis been doing and switching off the center to help. And offensively, where is Sabonis ? His usual spot as a center or on the wing? Sabonis runs offense thru the middle top key, so more than likely center would be on the wing. Truthfully I trust keegan at PF on that wing more than any center u mentioned. Because if it’s brook Lopez, there goes our transition threes.. something we do best at. Brook Lopez isn’t the same defender and is getting slower by the minute that can’t get up the court transition. Why do u think bucks problem has always been defense? What we need is a 6’8-6’9 PF that’s athletic enough to move his feet and hit a three, *which there are more players available that fit that description” .. u can fault McNair all u want but even YOU don’t know what’s right for the team 🤦‍♂️
