Man, that black supra had huge top end, nearly 170mph! That’s bloody impressive on a street surface rwd. Good on that young fella in the ute too, piloted it very well!

I get your point. But real men don’t like losing either…otherwise we would all by driving on skinny crossply tires and 4 speed manuals on our carby pushrod engine
@@MrTroytroy I’m just playin, I love jumpin people in my GTR, usually over before it’s begun.
Advantage of 4WD is huge though and you can see the proof of that right hear.
Would be interested to see all the GTR boys switch too rear wheel only, to see how the numbers rise.
Would actually be a lot of fun to watch

Wow. That vl requiring 50psi of boost from a larger frame turbo than many other cars to make 1000. Just goes to show how fucking terrible that single cam flows.

You guys get all the LS and other good motors we want and can't have here. Blame Ford for wanting to promote the twin turbo "EcObOoSt v6" over the Barra and killing it off in the end. 👎 Plus you guys get the 300ci Ford six, a nearly 5L straight six, which is a monster compared to our Barra's 4L. 😎👍
They're AU $800 for a LPG spec motor that comes with the turbo rods any day of the week... I wonder what a container load of barra's is worth in the states...

The conversion on the Hiace was NOT done by 5a mechanical ! It was sold to them with a 1jz 6266 turbo built auto and a 9 inch running engineered and driving ! And faster than the molestation it is now !

why does the xd have fueltech and a carby ?
Ignition timing control and engine monitoring/protection. Also runs the digi dash and launch control would be my guess.
This is what I thought, big carb but old mate says fueltech ecu, it would be ignition control as said in other comments
