Yep, Red squirrels are native animals in the British isles but the Greys pushed them out of their territories. They are very close to non exist. They are protected by law so if you see any red squirrels, don't shoot them but make sure the squirrels are grey before you can shoot them. The Greys somehow come from America and invaded the British isles. The Reds are mostly in the north of England and some area of Scotland.
Nice feeder. Good work on them greys! Been following you for a couple years now on insta and on UA-cam never really comment only watch and like. But love your content especially your airgun stuff.
Nice bud your doing fantastic now bud keep up the good work. Looked like you had a grand time on you holiday. Thats probably a mouse setting the trap off and getting out the holes lol. Hope alls well cheers
I find a flap/lid on the feed tray essential if you're using any peanuts in the mix, as every critter in the woods loves peanuts and will scrap the food out to get at them. I like 80% peanuts with the rest made up of small stuff that the tits and other birds like, this gets a bit of activity going on around the feeder, you also get bonus chances on things like jays and magpies if there is a bit of spillage laying around. Peanuts are like Crack Cocaine for squirrels. Happy hunting xx
It's nice to see a young person that is responsible and doesn't act like most of them do when it comes to anything and everything. You're clearly respected hence being called into places to carry out pest control, thumbs up for sure and we'll done for not being a stereotypical young person. Even my 20 year old daughter dislikes people of around her age because of what the majority of them are like. Do you do the pest control as a hobby or a business? Hi Andy love all you're UA-cam clips. You are a very respected gentleman. I'm a 52yo from Shropshire a very keen airgunner I've been shooting air rifles for the past 40 years or so now. So I have no where to go shooting a couple of rabbits pidgeons rsts etc I've tried a few local farmers but they don't really want to know. So just asking if you knew anywhere where for me as I seam at a dead end. Thanks Andy keep up the good work.

Hi, Nice feeder but shouldn't the battons run lengthwise down each side to stop the feeder rocking and also allow the water to pass down the rear unobstructed good hunting the quicker we get rid of the pesky things the better, then we will have to start on other intruders the Parakeets .Cheers Tippo,UK.
Andy, can’t find the link, I want to buy some, can you help please, proud that I have reduced population of greys in Cornwall with my friends by 300, they all count. Squirrels ( greys ) go to the birds of prey sanctuary, Winnards perch.

So horrible to take animals life. You go and kill them without having any respect to a life. Thinking its a pest. Well humans took over their homes by building theirs. These poor animals being pushed out. And its never enough for greedy kind of humans. We all sharing this planet. Learn to respect each other including smallest creatures. Their life not less important than yours. If you think otherwise then sad. Very sad.
I thought that to at first but the grey ones did take over and infest the red squirrels home first. Just trying to help the original red squirrels form going extinct. Their mutch smaller and weaker so it's only fair.
Awful. How do you know that you're not killing a mother with babies still in the nest. I don't care what you're trying to help. Killing an innocent squirrel is unforgivable. Let nature take its course and stop intervening how nature works.
Oh piss off, don’t tell me what to do. Grey squirrels AREN’T NATURAL in England!!!! They do untold damage to our native wildlife, causing some species to the brink on extinction in this country. That’s unforgivable! Nothing innocent about them.
Don't take it to heart Andy. The trouble is most of the people in this country are detached from wildlife and nature and are poorly educated.
