The title hints at transcendence, 涅盤( nirvana), then it contradicts itself by tagging on a time period of 100 years, two experiences that are mutually exclusive. Like its title, the concerto is also half baked while pretending to be more than it is, I am a huge fan of Ms Liu, but even a superb performer like her cannot make a miracle out of nothing.
Just discovered this piece by Ms Liu. This piece is less voluptuous compared to the other piece; then, again,, the other piece was with a different Suo Na instrument. The piece here looks "longer", and the sound is not as high-pitched, like a violin (the other piece) and a viola.

听到琐呐声,还以为又死了人,奏哀乐
生老病死,人生必經階段
紅白二事也會用到嗩吶,不只白事
苦樂全在主觀的心,不在客觀的事
丧器,琐呐
A piece of terrible music
