    We are a couple who once fell in love with mountains and couldn't get back. So we decided to follow our heart and move from a big city to a small village to be able to do what we love and to create this content. Our goal is to promote the healthy lifestyle, to motivate people to travel more and care for nature around. We are passionate walkers who love hiking, trekking and camping. We offer the detailed information of our hikes and routes, including the map and all the directions, so that you can repeat it if you'd like to.
    We choose walking over driving and other types of transportation whenever we can because we learnt that this way we see so much more and can explore and feel the place better. Walking is an excellent activity that has so many benefits to your health and requires no special equipment or practice, so we encourage you to get the most out of it and get out walking.
    We speak English, Spanish, French and Russian, so don't hesitate to address to us in your native language.

    Perhaps it is your expectations that are the problem. Would never have occurred to me to take those handwarmers backpacking. As you say, too heavy. But for a day or overnight outing, they're very nice.

      Maybe you are right, we just thought we can use it as a powerbank and this way justify the weight bit it wasn't worth it in the end. Also haven't tried anything like this before we expected it to be more efficient in terms of giving out heat outdoors.

    As a side sleeper the MT500 XL is the most comfortable sleeping mat I’ve used. Maybe the extra width helps?

      Haven't thought about this before, have to check it👍🏻

    I think I got that Naturehike sleeping mat myself a few months ago, although mine is grey coloured. I've not used it yet outside, only tried it out inside and found that it's not as thick as hoped for. Definitely need another mat underneath it.

      Yes, definetely, this is how we've been using it this summer season. Our main concern is how noisy it is and some difficulties with the valve system.

    I was gonna get the folding collapsible trekking poles, but I got a shaped silnylon tarp that required trekking poles with a shorter minimum height, so I picked up the longer poles from Costco's Black Friday sale 2 carbon cork poles for $39 good deal 👍
    But Decathlon sells a trail running pole quiver from their Evadict line, that I might MacGyver to suit my needs, or adapt from scratch depending on how long it needs to be 😅

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  9 місяців тому

      Yeah, it is struggle when you need to have versatile poles, not only for walking. Folding ones are hard to beat for us as they are so compact. But for the tent set up may not be the right fit. Actually, it is true, Decathlon has one from Forclaz line which is aimed for hikers and one from Evadict, but the con with the last one is that it is not adjustable in length. Hope you will figure that out, keep us updated on how it goes here😊

      @@WalkingNatureWorld yeah, the Evadict trekking poles are not suited, but the quiver, that looks interesting. I might be able to rig something with my EDC day pack to manage their extra length?

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  9 місяців тому

      Quiver do look good having their own cover, but can't find the info if they are adjustable in length or not. Can't seem to find them in the store here. Let us know what you think of them when you use it.
