@miltonlucas8655 There are many black people who don't know their own history and experiences in America who blame themselves for the struggle that black people were brought into. For example, did you know that our black ancestors were brought to America as slaves and spent 246 years (1619-1865) of brutal chattel slavery including the Transatlantic shipping of human cargo, buck breaking, raping, excessive working, murdering, breeding, and the separation of black families? That alone would destroy the next generations of black people; but we are a strong people, so we persevered. But the trauma didn't stop there, and we received no help to climate to American society which did not want us as citizens. We spent the next 100 years (1865-1965) of Jim Crow segregation and oppression including lynchings, raping, convict leasing, peonage schemes, joblessness, lack of quality education, medical experimentation, exclusion from wealth building (GI bill, FHA Loans, Homestead Act, eminent domain, etc), Red summer of 1919 (Tulsa, OK, Rosewood, FL, Ocoee, FL, Mound Bayou, MS, Wilmington, NC, etc), redlining, police brutality and harassment, and the civil rights movement which is supposed to give blacks freedoms but instead extended slavery through massincarceration (13th Amendment), lack of citizenship rights (14th Amendment), and voter suppression (15th Amendment). Also, MLK was killed in 1968, which is a testament to the violence and trauma inflicted on black people by white people. There was no help or sympathy for our condition including among ourselves. Those of us that survived the Jim Crow era and made it to the last 60 years (1965-2025) blame those that didn't survive the ongoing sabotage in the black community; i.e., school to prison pipelines, criminalization of black men, massincarceration, continuing redlining, consistent and high unemployment, low quality education, medical racism, planting drugs and guns in black communities, welfare programs, abortion clinics, food deserts, health disparities, water insecurities, police shootings and injustices, gentrification, and a racial wealth gap that is the accumulation of generational oppression and poverty built into the black family and their communities in America. I’m proud to be part of the black Diaspora. My ancestors were enslaved for centuries and despite repeated generational disenfranchisement from the white population. I cannot listen to African judgement because it comes from a place of unearned entitlement. Too often I find myself having to explain the history of America to a Nigerian often which is irritating. Yes there is a difference between Black Americans and Africans, but Africans repeatedly want to ignore the history as if it has no present effect. Nigerians are still a colonized people who despite being free from Britain still coddle their arrogance. Nigerians in America are exploited because of this. White employers are more likely to take a Nigerian who has a little grasp of American racial dynamics. Whether you like it or not you are still a tool of oppression for black Americans as long as you think yourselves different from us. We are your cousins that you sold away for guns and trinkets, in no way do I see you as my betters. Neither do I detest you. Understand that Black culture was whipped, raped, sold, and scattered into existence, most of us don’t know our true names or our history beyond enslavement. That was by design. I cannot tolerate judgement of our now multiple black cultures from anyone that isn’t willing to accept their origins or current struggles.
🔥💯🔥
Not all Africans were sold by each other. White Americans were kidnapping Africans.
Nigerians are go getters. Respect to them
Then why is their country so filthy?
But they can't make it in Africa
Facts!
And you can't make it here
@@musabawogi3856 We’re the only reason you can flee your shitty homeland to come here.🙄
@@musabawogi3856 We have more success than that entire continent 🙄
@@negroraven9458 because of the US$. Its not like yall are doctors or engineers, or manufacturers in the US.
If she goes to Nigeria she will change her mind
You can have her 😆
I think everyone needs to embrace there ethnicity and respect it
That woman is messed up
They should take Candace the Grifter.
She can't be trusted.
I'm Yoruba (maternal, Madagascan paternally)... 10th or 12th generation American, now living in and loving Ghana. We Nigerians... we bring it on!!! ❤🇳🇬
Nice
10th or 12th generation American❓️
But there country is still rated as a piss poor.
I wonder what she knows about Nigeria . Candance is speaking out of ignorance.
She’s just kidding around. Why are you taking her seriously?
Lmao bro fell in love with Candace over this
Interesting 🇳🇬and there are also Nigerians also deny thire identity let mixed together
Im African American and my DNA test says I'm 47% Nigerian born in North Carolina. I have always felt like I'm winning.
U are not a black American u are nigerian
@aniyax4023 I was just using the term AA to denote where I was born but whosoever I am its predominantly Nigerian. I have taken two separate IQ tests and they both came back 137. Haha, after I discovered what it meant then I understood why I was reading The Illiad and The Lord of The Rings at 7 years old. I remember lying on my living room floor reading Spiderman comics in 1974 pondering wormholes and parallel universes. I'm still since that day contemplating photon propulsion. The thoughts won't go away.
@@TheMcfreezeSo you're saying because you contemplated wormholes that makes you special? Do you know how many non-Nigerians do this? Are you saying that FBAs aren't winners?
@latonyanewsome0 You learn more by what someone doesn't say when they say something. I said I was contemplating wormholes at 7 years old. How many 7 year old Nigerians are doing that?
-In- I'm African American- 61% Nigerian/ Igbo descent and all I do is win, win, win no matter what.
Igbo kwenu ❤ Igbo amaka❤
good for you.
How does she know she is not Nigerian, did she take a DNA test? She may have a small percentage of Nigerian DNA.
I am 42% Nigerian.
Most probably she did. But if she was Nigerian she would've said.
We Nigerians people are Awesome 😅❤
You need Candace to tell you this ? Really ?
@Spaceghost87x she should have encouraged them to do for Nigeria, return home, build up and claim all resources
All people are awesome but most are lead astray by those in power.
She’s just kidding.
This is a dumb story lol smh Do better!
😂😂😂
Did a Nigerian create that thumbnail "I wish I am a Nigerian"?
I worked with Nigerians 🇳🇬 25 years my brothers they handle their business 👍
Why didn't they do that in their country then?
Then why do they lead the planet in open💩defecation?!
Candace Owens next grift.....
I receive this word I will get notification in 7hrs and will testify in the honor and glory of God Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Hallelujah
I really don't think so. I think she wishes she was wyt. I think she looks in the mirror and absolutely hates what she sees.
Lagos 🇳🇬 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
😕 Stop it!. 😐 Candace Owens wants to be European... Think about it..
Candace Owens is not some great woman.
So-called blacks globally are the same. You have some from each countries, continents are brilliant, less fortunate, productive etc. Stop idolize one group, that is compassion, division, separation and everything to put us against each other.
And becareful where the highlight is coming from and the agenda behind it.
Becareful, we don't need that now when Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali are trying to unite Mama Africa as one.
🫡🇳🇬💯
All African People are Good, but the Leaders are the Problem where Human Development and Dignity with Sovereign are Concerned, Africa needs one Voice, One Army, One Currency.
Candace needs to have a conversation with Kemi 🇳🇬 🤔
😂😂😂😂💜💜
“ i wish i was Nigerian” you should be happy and accept who you are and not wish to be anything else I’m happy being caribbean I would never wish to be anything else
Interesting question I wonder where that personal power comes from...
Candace Owens 🇬🇧 in West Africa 🌍 🤔
Thry come here with a plan to succeed like other people that come here
The conversation between the black female and white male is interesting .
The female is literally gushing in regards to the compliments by this male, that she does not see how divisive this is. Here we go again, white validation!
The problem with us black people, is that people just have to say I like you and then our egos take flight! You don’t know anything about Candace Owens, as much as she doesn’t know anything about her husband! These people who compliment you know how to play to your ego!
Nigeria 🇳🇬 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Sorry to the African American brethren that seems not to know their history or still sleeping talking about reparations for slavery but care not to know what the whole slavery thing was about and what they should be striving for presently. I will advise all of you to stop hating on Nigerians for their success and achievements. We are the same tribe of people and has the same spiritual inheritance. But the fact is Nigerians is not looking or waiting for Nigeria or American government to do anything for them but we understands our spiritual covenant like Joseph in Scriptures and keys into that spirituality ( Divine FAVOR ) which is the secret sauce to the Success. Also there’s no group of people that worships God like Nigerians. To a Nigerian, God is everything. I will say they are the most spiritual people you will come across.
She's just talking if she was serious she would move there and never come back
As a Nigerian .. i must inform you all who dont know about Nigeria. Nigeria has over 230 ethnic groupes with over 500 languages. it hast six geopolitcal regions. which has it own ethnic groupes. We speak entirely different langugages but use official language as english or french,if you are closer to North, which a typical nigerian will never speak with you, as we believe .. it is not in our own culture to speak another mans language. however we communicate with ourselves with Pidgin. This means the white man calls us Nigerians... we are not Nigeians to ourselves the indigins. we come from different ethnicities. owen should study well before opening her mouth.
Nigeria doesn't exist in the mind of it indigins..It'ss just a compound name used to refer to people living in these regions.
when u talk about developing nigeria, then i dont understand you. If you are from east , it will be very difficult to invest in North or South or regions different from your neighborhood. Also in Nigeria, Government dont own lands. The Indigins own thier lands in thier respective regions, which makes it difficult for the government to intervene in affairs of the people.
More ever. Nigerians are not poor !!
Typo: comparison not compassion
😹😹😹✌🏽💞
NOTE. !! DO NOT TRUST HER....
Give me a reason for your statement olease
She only said that to antagonize Black Americans, Candace doesn't like anyone Black, and if she could be anything else, it would most certainly be white.
@@louisemarsh6106 She has a history of badmouthintg the Black Community in the US infromt of Caucasian augiences. Not sure if she is still dong it thoght She has said some very nastry stuff. She even discretidted Geord Flo;ys's death and made it seam like hw was a criminal who deserved to be unalived by police..
But she's not
If she did her ancestry she would most likely find Nigerian ancestry like many Black Americans.

You can have her.
Who started this post and WHY?
Biggest scammers and haven’t built anything
By the rhetoric i hear come from many, not all in that groups mouth against FBA..I already thought she is Nigerian..her and Austin Chenge are similiar
Why that hate from most here? She never compared Nigerians to AA but here we are with people bashing Nigeria and Nigerians and even her. It borders on inf.... complex when they her that word Nigeria. Laying claim to another man's country, gate keeping against every other immigrant group is not cool when you are also the decendants of immigrants by way of slavery.
Leave them alone
The comments section is full of jealousy, if not for government Nigerian would’ve be safe heaven for black people, we Nigerians succeed wherever we go’ America is better ground for that
But if you are that great, why is your government [ran by Nigerians] a challenge that you are incapable of overcoming?
You deflect about “jealousy” but you just are making weak EXCUSES where you are the numerical majority and have your own land.
Your government is a direct reflection of the people of Nigeria. Black-Americans fought for everything they have, and you enjoy today. Yes, Black-Americans fought in just about every war, but you Black migrants are willfully ignorant of this reality. Fact!!
Thats amazing. Isnt she half FBA amd half Caribbean? Maybe someone needs a little self love therapy.
You should never trust the words of someone who talks blk but in relationships with wytes.. ijs
Leave Candace Owen alone.🥸😮🤓😎
Jesus Christ help her!
