Problems with Kwid:
1. Low on mileage

Using kwid 2016 model so just wanted to add that the service/maintenance of Renault is very cheap and much friendly than maruti. Renault service centres actually do care if your car.
Maruti receives so many cars/day for service thus they don't do a thorough checkup. That's my experience.

I own maruthi suzuki s presso..bought About 10days back ....i loved it ...it's good.....good comfortable for family , good mileage. They coated 21.7 but i get approx around 24 ... maintenance cost is also not bad ...road time service is available...i felt happy by buying this...

@Star Druva i bought it in 2016 the old version, repair work for smallest things takes 7 days while maruti takes hours. Miledge i get is 12kmpl in Kolkata while my Ciaz gives me 16kmpl.

He becomes really negative with all that expressions when talking about Maruti but really soft and appealing when even describing the worst of Kwid. It really is influenced by 100% emotion and personal feelings and not one of those professional feedbacks. Sounds like he is a kwid promotor as in paid one. After saying all negative things he end up with that "apart from it I don't have any issue with Expresso".

Jus by the look kwid is more appealling the spresso...but due to so much negativity to spresso im kinna feel more attaching to it learning more about it...i like kwid for sure...but im gonna buy spresso this time...due to it post show room service and i can fix it myself...feel bad for kwid becoz ryt now i dont have the materials to repair it if incase i need to...both car are amazing, both cars have their disadvantage and advantage...anyone who want to buy any of those know that both cars are amazing...but onething to know..spresso is made of sheet metals and kwid -more than 70% is made up of plastic and fiber glass which is costly incase you need any rapair after....
This guy is promoting worst car which don't even last a year. He seems more attracted to features rather than reliability. We own both cars in the family and trust me guys, getting kwid was the biggest mistake and we regret it so much just at 9 months now with 6000 kms driven with all kinds of fault. Gear box is worst, false neutral at high speeds, stuck gear, gears wont slide in, gears bouncing etc with so much vibration after 3 months. Even used 10 year old maruti 800 or alto 800 will be more reliable.
Spresso is also not that great but is far more reliable though it lacks in features but are readily available aftermarket. Overall never get kwid its bs worst car ever.
You are a typical maruti owner and no one is willing to buy tin dabba(maruti cars)

I own a kwid climber from 2018. I have driven it for 50k kms till date. There has been no major issue other than the battery dying recently. The best car in this segment by some distance. Honestly, maruti has taken customers for granted. Their designs are the most boring.

i drove both BS6 models - The Espresso runs like dog , very peppy (Well known K-SERIES engine) and very good road presence compare to kwid, also kwid service sucks.. Kwid service crawling compare to giant Maruti services... If you have 5 lakh budget and want to have a car for balanced driving like city and off roading then espresso wins over any car in that segment. I got amazed to see the space they have given in espresso.. wow simply amazing.. no wonder suzuki spent 600 crores for R&D of this car(as per team BHP).. - This is not biased and i own Honda jazz. and city..i am actually Honda fan.. but just wanted to express my appreciation on the suzuki's job..really well done...

Kwid se lambi nahi bhai ji,kwid se oonchi hai.(length mein kwid zyada hai,height mein spresso zyada hai). Even though kwid ki ground clearance slightly zyada hai.
Aur sir ji kwid ki tail light ki bs dimensions same hai but light is all new with led accents and diffrent placement of indicators and reverse light in it.
And bootspace kwid ka ab 280 litres hai instead of 300 litres, wheel well ka size badhaya gaya to accomodate 14" wheels jo pehle 13" aate the.jiski vajah se 300 litre ka bootspace 280 litres ka hogya.

I choose s presso because the service cost and service centre availability , And of course it's give a SUV felling when you drive ,.
I think, S-presso has the issue of stearing return (self centering)
after a sharp turn, which I feel after taking a test drive, yesterday,
and it is very weird. You people should emphasize this problem for the
awareness of the prospective buyers... Even I took a test drive of Ignis
around one year back and it has also the same issue. Not sure about
Wagon-R, Kwid or Santro, which I am going to take a test drive soon...

मैंने दोनों को चलाया सर क्विड में मजा नहीं आता उतना जितना फील S Presoo का मजा आता है एवरेज -22 ग्राउंड क्लीनर्स काफी है और नो रीसेल क्विड को नहीं मारुती आधी रात्त को बिकेगी और एक बात जो मैंने ध्यान से देखि है ओ की मै S Presoo को छोटे बड़े किराये से भी चलाता हु बल्कि क्विड को कोण ले जायेगा किराये से hight काफी कम है और इंजिन का काफी आवाज आता है क्विड में S Pressoo काफी स्मूथ है मुझे 6 महीने हुए लेके सर thanks

1. Kwid engine is still BS4 ...When it comes with BS6 will it alter the VFM factor for the car ?
2. Any points related to AMT specific comparison. Smoothness and quickness of shifts both up and down ? As Kwid amt doesn't offer manual mode .... does it affect daily driving , highway driving, quick overtaking etc. ?
3. Is it possible to have video on fuel efficiency run for Kwid ?

Review is bias towards Kwid. Power Window buttons are in the middle in both cars, key also looks the same but when talking about these on S Presso, you were condescending. Besides, you could have spoken about the plastic oil sump in Kwid, which can be risky when driving on rough roads. Also, Kwids engine is not as good and refined as S Presso's. If it was about vibration, you should have kept the doors of both cars opened when you switched the engine on. I am sure with the kind of engine noise that Kwid makes at the start, the vibrations will be proportionate to that.

Kwid has 3 big wheel bolts and fixed to the wholes from outside not from inside. All other vehicles 4 bolts are welded to the drum. This is the only disadvantage in Kwid vehicle. While changing wheel we have to struggle a lot when it gets punctured. If it is corrected Kwid vehicle is a good vehicle. I don't have any other complaints on Kwid. I thank you very much for giving me this opportunity.

S presso looks shit infront of kwid but the 1L k seres is a true gem ,it is legues ahed in terms of perfomance specially in mid and top end ,it is much more peppy and fun to drive i drive the old model alto k 10 which have the same heart the response fron the k seres is fantastic , its fun to drive car
