BAP sadly aren’t active anymore. In 2014, all members filed a kawsuit against their company for unfair profit distribution and (I think) mistreatment. They later settled and went back to promoting, but the members all left TS when their contracts were up in 2018/19 and went their separate ways. The guy with the deep voice is Yongguk, leader and rapper. The other rapper who raps really fast is Zelo, maknae, dancer and rapper. The two vocalists are Daehyun (main vocal and “main character” in Skydive) and Youngjae (lead vocal and the guy who gets kidnapped in One shot) (personally they are one of my favorite main-lead vocal combinations in Kpop, their voices sound so nice bouncing off each other). Then there’s Jongup (dancer and the traitor in Skydive), and Himchan (vocalist and the guy with red hair in Wake me up)

Bap members now active as soloists and start their actor career after their contract expired from T$, but they stated that the weren't disbanded. The concept in Skydive is because Daehyun got the last photo while he was passed out in his gang's hideout, he starts to suspect one of them is the kidnapper. In black&white he remembers strange things all the members have been doing. The D-day job is just another hit. None of the others know Daehyun's girl is abducted... Or do they?

It really was a long battle for them and it would be worth checking out a video about their story. You're right, Warrior was their debut song and what a debut it was, certainly set them apart from other groups that debuted along with them in 2012. It's just unfortunate that circumstances made them lost the popularity they gained. Wake Me Up was a really important comeback to us fans. You probably noticed that it talks about some pretty heavy stuff regarding mental health, body image, depression etc. Yongguk (leader of Bap with the deep voice) previous to this MV was on hiatus due to a panic disorder and did not participate in any of the promotions of the previous comeback skydive and he returned to the group with that MV and this very personal topic of raising awareness to mental health issues. Bap really are a power group but they truely can pull of any concept. they are one of those groups that seem to be not albe to produce a bad song and they have done it all from heavy metal (Dystopia, Bang x2) to feel good songs (feel so good^^, that's my jam), slower more ballady songs (where are you, coffee shop), and then of course all the revolution and standing up to the establishment stuff you already wittnessed (power, badman, no mercy, hands up) and loads more I have not mentioned here, prepare yourself for a ride bc it's absolutely amazing. And if you have not had enough by then all the members have solo music out as well. Also the Album to Skydive 'Noire' is probably one of my favourite albums in kpop in general (parts of two songs on the album, pray and fermata, were also in the skydive mv) it alwys makes me so proud when other people discover Bap, they suffered under trash management but they blessed us with powerful and meaningful music. The members said one day they will come back as a group the true fans will be here for that until then we just support the members in their individual endeavors. Hands down, the only group I've ever spent money on.. i was into kpop since around 2008 but never really stan any group/idols, not until b.a.p was introduced by zelo and yongguk.. the only group that was actually different than generic/standard kpop group..what makes em different was that their music talks about the dark side of society, mental illness and more sensitive topic, while most kpop group sings about love and cliche stuff.. then, you see how their mv are like movies, no other group does that back in the day..and that's how bts actually managed to pull in more fans.. they started making mv like b.a.p did.. not actually comparing ,just an example, because people are sleeping on this amazing group not knowing that b.a.p was the rookie monster that stepped up the game.. b.a.p and t-ara are both still my favourite ,both were unique and different than any other groups, imo at least.. but both disbanded ,thanks to company mistreatment and controversy..

HAHAHAHAHAHAAA oh lord watching people watch skydive for the first time is my favourite thing ever its hilarious im in Tears glad you liked b.a.p! they're genuinely so so good, so talented. they haven't been active (officially) as a group since the beginning of 2019. when their 7 year contacts ran out, they all decided not to renew. as you mentioned you know a bit about ts entertainment, im sure you can figure out why. they actually filed a lawsuit against tsent in 2015 as a group but eventually had to settle and wait out their contracts. They still show up in each others sns posts and at each others fan meetings and i'm quite sure that they'll work together in some format after they've all finished their military service. The leader Yongguk (the deep voiced one that you like) is due to be discharged in May. Daehyun, the main vocal, won't be discharged until May 2022. The rest haven't started their service yet. They all have good solo songs/albums. I especially love Yongguk's solo stuff, I recommend listening to AM 4:44, Hikikomori, Yamazaki, Orange Drive. They all have MVs.

Their songs always have a good message. Warrior is about fighting injustice. Wake Me Up was released after their leader came back after he was diagnosed of panic disorder. Its about mental health. Skydive is about taking challenges.
They were the first Kpop group who sang no shitty love-dovey, girl friend boy friend, break ups, flirting, love love love stuff. BangYongGuk, the deep voice rapper, the leader, and their Singer song writer is a bone deep humanitarian and a socialist. Their lyrics were all about the bad politics and how youngsters should wake up, fight, and work hard to change the world. Bang was the man who aspired to be Martin Luther King, Jr. Although the MV are violent, if you watch his interviews, he’s the most pure hearted guy. I miss him a lot.

As for more recommendations, gosh it’s hard to choose. I liked their earlier tracks, and definitely recommend them too, but I REALLY get into B.A.P when they were promoting ‘*1004(Angel)*’ - their last title track before the lawsuit hiatus. So I’m most fond of 1004 and everything that came after that, which you’ve now seen two of those MVs in this video. ‘*Young, Wild and Free*’ was the first comeback after their contracts were renegotiated. Which was followed by ‘*Feel So Good*’ and ‘*That’s My Jam*’. Then their last two title tracks before leaving TS were ‘*Honeymoon*’ and ‘*Hands Up*’. Ngl, I’m still holding out hope that they will reunite and release more music together in the future.

Thank you so much for reacting to BAP omggg I can't believe some people still learn about them, I'm happy for that. As their fan i can say anyone into kpop should know about them, cz their messages are really deep and strong, their lyrics are always meaningful not always about love and break ups, but about social issues, and even when they talked about love they used different point of view that's what i like about them. We can't forget their talents " dance vocal rap visuals style...."

Hands down, the only group I've ever spent money on.. i was into kpop since around 2008 but never really stan any group/idols, not until b.a.p was introduced by zelo and yongguk.. the only group that was actually different than generic/standard kpop group..what makes em different was that their music talks about the dark side of society, mental illness and more sensitive topic, while most kpop group sings about love and cliche stuff.. then, you see how their mv are like movies, no other group does that back in the day..and that's how bts actually managed to pull in more fans.. they started making mv like b.a.p did.. not actually comparing ,just an example, because people are sleeping on this amazing group not knowing that b.a.p was the rookie monster that stepped up the game..
b.a.p and t-ara are both still my favourite ,both were unique and different than any other groups, imo at least.. but both disbanded ,thanks to company mistreatment and controversy..

glad you liked b.a.p! they're genuinely so so good, so talented. they haven't been active (officially) as a group since the beginning of 2019. when their 7 year contacts ran out, they all decided not to renew. as you mentioned you know a bit about ts entertainment, im sure you can figure out why. they actually filed a lawsuit against tsent in 2015 as a group but eventually had to settle and wait out their contracts.
They still show up in each others sns posts and at each others fan meetings and i'm quite sure that they'll work together in some format after they've all finished their military service.
The leader Yongguk (the deep voiced one that you like) is due to be discharged in May. Daehyun, the main vocal, won't be discharged until May 2022. The rest haven't started their service yet.
They all have good solo songs/albums. I especially love Yongguk's solo stuff, I recommend listening to AM 4:44, Hikikomori, Yamazaki, Orange Drive. They all have MVs.

They were the first Kpop group who sang no shitty love-dovey, girl friend boy friend, break ups, flirting, love love love stuff. BangYongGuk, the deep voice rapper, the leader, and their Singer song writer is a bone deep humanitarian and a socialist. Their lyrics were all about the bad politics and how youngsters should wake up, fight, and work hard to change the world. Bang was the man who aspired to be Martin Luther King, Jr. Although the MV are violent, if you watch his interviews, he’s the most pure hearted guy. I miss him a lot.
It would be so fun to watch you react to B.A.P.'s non dark concepts, songs like 'Thats my jam' 'feel so good and 'stop it' also 'honeymoon'! This was such a cool video from a BAP Stan since 2012 its so great to see people react, you could also react to their solo stuff, I'm partial to Bang Yongguk's solos but all of them are great!

As for more recommendations, gosh it’s hard to choose. I liked their earlier tracks, and definitely recommend them too, but I REALLY get into B.A.P when they were promoting ‘*1004(Angel)*’ - their last title track before the lawsuit hiatus. So I’m most fond of 1004 and everything that came after that, which you’ve now seen two of those MVs in this video.
‘*Young, Wild and Free*’ was the first comeback after their contracts were renegotiated. Which was followed by ‘*Feel So Good*’ and ‘*That’s My Jam*’. Then their last two title tracks before leaving TS were ‘*Honeymoon*’ and ‘*Hands Up*’.
Ngl, I’m still holding out hope that they will reunite and release more music together in the future.
