I think this is the point that Todd could have confessed what he did with the baby, and there might still have been a possibility of being forgiven. As bad as what he did was, Blair lied to him for months and months and there was no real justification for that either.
It's not a good comparison, though. Her lies were wrong but they weren't comparable to putting that infant at risk and telling the woman he loves that her baby is dead when he gave the child away.
@debb481 what he did was far worse for sure, but she knew him so well, she must have known lying to him that the child was Max's all along was really cruel and set the whole situation up. His behavior was unforgivable and in my opinion out of character for the character of Todd Manning.
@@Justicia007 She should have told him. They were both wrong to varying degrees. Blair feared Todd due to past betrayals of trust and his games with Starr so I wouldn't call what she did cruel. But I dont like that she threw the lie in his face at times and she did play a part in the DBL by stoking his insecurities. Added note: It really was OOC for Todd. Terribly written story line!
thumbsupthiscomment I guess the reason why they are showing the flash back so much is the more they talk about the baby, the more he is starting to realize and finally realize that the baby was his and he made the worst mistake of his life, he did the same thing as the one person he despise the most his father. His father made his mother give him away and he did the same. I guess he just realize that history has repeated itself but he has the love in his heart for his wife and kids to correct the worst mistake of his life.
thumbsupthiscomment they have to keep showing flashbacks to the different events as they occurred and with whom as they basically retrace their steps to find the baby.
@@CLarcholeyYes! I mean it actually got boring. I think Todd delivered several kids and switched them and Blair lied about several babies. They didn't seem to have many storylines other than babies and it was annoying, because it wasted the two best actors on the show in my opinion. They were great when they teamed up against other people
@@CLarcholeyI thought it represented his conscience and his conscience was really bothering him a lot about it so he kept hearing what he said over and over again. 🤷🏼♀️
Love seeing Todd struggle with the aftermath of the DBL. Instead of enjoying a wonderful time with the family he has so badly wanted, he's spending a lot of time trying to make sure that he isn't found out and constantly worried it will all fall apart. Then, inevitably Blair does find out and leaves him. (I usually like Todd but he so deserves the consequences of his extreme, hurtful actions.)
With a little regained belief and trust in his love for her, she can risk telling him. She hasn't felt secure with Todd for awhile; probably since he showed his willingness to betray her. Recently, he's been very loving and they're getting along well. She's beginning to trust him again after that serious betrayal of trust (putting her very freedom at risk simply out of jealousy), after he's kept her from Starr twice and after he tried to frame her for Asa's "murder''. Unfortunately, she'll find out soon enough that she was right to mistrust him-when she discovers the DBL.

How many times can they possibly show the "get rid of it" flashback? LOL
