I feel like this album is such a beautiful introduction to Bjork as a solo artist. It shows off how strange she is but also how sentimental and down to earth she is. She’s like an alien that came down to earth to grace us all with her magic sounds 💛
first of all, im very glad you're back and a great album to come back on. im very thankful for you listening to this album because she is my favourite artist and im glad you enjoyed it! by the way her next album Post is another good one (björk beat janet jackson and celine dion in that era) and im sure you will like it even more that Debut hope to see you do more reactions as summer is right around the corner! : )
Thanks so much for being here even during the last couple of months! I really enjoyed this one and I can see it having a big influence on my music and playstyle. I've heard very good things about Post (from you especially lol). But I'm planning to do more on this channel and streaming soon!
There’s no pressure to have a super in-depth analysis on a first listen, we don’t expect that of you because we know it doesn’t come naturally with all music. Sometimes the best kind of first listen is to just sit back and enjoy the auditory experience, no need to force a meaning out of it.
I had set up a patreon, but tbh there's just too much on my plate outside of YT to manage quality content on YT as well as patreon. I don't have the same amount of time as I did in the past to make my regular uploads let alone patreon content.
This album is like Radiohead's first album... it stinks, LOL. Please keep going through the whole catalog in order. Nothing else on earth like it. You wont regret it.
theres weirdly not a lot of super great reactions to bjork albums out there, so its super cool to see this. she has such a rich and varied discography. from here if you wanted you could go to her second album, post, to get an understanding of her progression in sound throughout her career. or you could go to vespertine like you had planned, or homogenic, both of which would be kind of throwing you in the deep end where she's developed a completely different style in comparison to debut, which would be a lot of fun.
Other recommendations...Talking Heads: Fear of Music, The Cure: Seventeen Seconds, Young Marble Giants: Collosal Youth, Pink Floyd: Animals, David Bowie: Low, Brian Eno: Before and After Science.....Enjoy
I always hit you up. Thanks for the video Bro. Bjork is my girl. It gets better as you continue with her Homogenic is great, Post is great, my personal favorites are Selma Songs and Vespertine. I look forward to your content.
This album sounds like a late summer night at home on the countryside to me then going to the local discotheque. It sounds very nature-like to me with city vibes
Great reaction! I’m glad you decided to experience Bjork chronologically because it will be an amazing journey to see how much she musically grew and expanded one album to another. Can’t wait to see your reaction to Post, Homogenic, Verpertine… all are amazing albums.

WELCOME BACK!! you are awesome
You need to listen to the "el jardin de los presentes" album. Probably the best spanish album of all time. Timeless classic and so beatiful.
I like you reacting to Björk's albums chronologically, but Vespertine is really so, so, sooo good.
I absolutely love Björk, Bjork and Radiohead are my life, so glad you started with Debut.
Love this reaction too!
This album will just make you fall in love with Bjork! So many delights!
Hey man, I would definitely love to see you react to “I didn’t mean to haunt you” by Quadeca. It’s a beautiful and heartbreaking album
bjrok is a slay queen

Such a good album. Makes me feel like a teenager again.

This album can't compare with Pablo Honey, Debut is so much better and more confident
'Play Dead' which was added to a later version of the Album is also a fantastic song.
I love this Album so much. We had it on repeat in Art Class back in 1993.
That sounds like a mood! I can totally picture that.
After this album begins complete madness! You should listen to the entire discography.
This is such a great album. It sounds a little dated now, but the songs are top quality. Bjork is a genius from another planet.
Love björk post, homogenic, vespertine and medulla are all my favs i like vulnicura too

Bjork's train of thought is up there, but musically, she's a f'king genius🎉❤
