  • Your rubber tree plant is dying most likely due to insufficient lighting. The rubber tree is considered a low light plant but it actually desires 5 to 7 hours of bright indirect lighting every single day. Consider moving your rubber tree to a different window in your household that receives more sunlight than where the plant is located now.
Another reason that your rubber tree plant could be dying is due to overwatering. The rubber tree needs to be watered on average once every week. Most plant Keepers find themselves watering this plant one to two times per week on average. If you find yourself watering more than that then you may be giving it too much water.
It’s very common for plant keepers to give this plant too much water. What happens when this plant has too much water is the root structure starts to break down and rot. Just do your best to try and diligently water this plant and allow time in between watering to dry out.
