I can only say again and again: THANK YOU for your great tips and inspiration! ❤️ Every single video is beautiful to watch and it's fun to try everything out. This is the 26th great card from the Advent calendar.
Hello Christine. Tu as raison cette fleur gerbera est magnifique . Ton idée est tellement plus originale que de les placer dans un vase . Merci Christine et bonne soirée. 👏👏👋👋👋
Busy over the Holiday and catching up like you. Guess I missed #26, so doing a replay today and enjoying your thoughts and creation of the two toned flowers. The off-setting and shaping of the blossoms as well as a little "twinkle" has made for a simply elegant card. Thanks 🤎
Dear Christine, what beautiful cards are passing by! How do you come up with them every time! One is more beautiful than the other! With every video I sit on the edge of my seat to be able to follow everything well! I learn so much from you! Thank you very much! And this is the first time that I see the dies of December 26! Really! I'm waiting of course!
Hello Chris, Thank you so much for sharing your WONDERFUL talent and creative ideas. I found your site a few months ago and BOY was I in trouble. After watching a few of your videos and went to the US Gummiapan site and ordered the Advent calendar. I received at end of November and since 1 December I have been in sheer heaven opening/watching what little treat is enclosure in the package. I am sorry this is so long but I can't tell how glad I am to have found you. You make my mornings with a cup of java and Chris ---thank you so much for making my days not so lonely. Pat (USA- North Carolina).
What an elegant design. I, like many others don’t have the dies that you use, however you have the knack of showing us what the possibilities are when using our own Thank you. Take care and love to all xx
I agree 100% with the smaller card base. You have made those flowers come alive - they are just beautiful!!!! Thank you for another lovely card. I will be sad when there are no more days in December. Liked and shared as always.
What an elegant design. I, like many others, don’t have the dies you use but you show us the possibilities of what can be done and for that I thank you. Take care and love to all xx
Beautiful card! Hope you had a wonderful time with your family but so glad you are back. It is good to hear your thought process as you make decisions.
Just lovely! I made a similar card last year using monochrome tones. I really love the simplicity and elegance of your card and the smaller base looks perfect!❤❤❤
I think flowers are my favorite. I love how are are able to create such a lovely, perfect card using a minimal amount of dies. Thanks Christine. You are a treasure. ❤️🇨🇦
"I'm old, I like beige", says the woman wearing blue trendy glasses, who's rumored to have attended an Abba concert in a sequined jacket (and quite possibly a silver wig)! 🤣 Aside from that, I think the color you chose is perfect for this card. Understated and polished. And as you said, it would be suitable for all types of occasions. Love it! 🩷
I have done the offset of craft behind white, I have shaped flowers, but I would never have thought to add that little piece of notebook paper. It looks Fantastic!! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.
Thank you Christine, I can see that this die will have lots of applications, that fine layering makes the card pop. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, once a teacher, always a teacher😊
Yo, Chrissy! Use REPOSITIONABLE adhesive on your elements FIRST, to see if you’re pleased with your design! THEN continue on with your design or addendums as required. Love & hugs, Girl!!
I LOVE when my viewer number is under 100! hahha oxoxo wish I loved closer to attend your March event. I have a friend in Street, maybe she can attend in my place! oxoxox
The Swedish company and Meissaprint.co.uk ship worldwide, there is a company in the US, Color me Nordic, which also stock the products, so you needn’t be sad!😊
Lovely little card. I like the effect of the two different cardstocks. I can't believe the year's almost over. I'm barely thinking ahead. Have you planned your menu for Tuesday? I'm making a boneless leg of lamb BUT I haven't really decided if I want to have it NYE or NY day. Decisions, decisions. 😊
The joy of our NY suppers is that I only make 1 course! One friend brings the starters and the other brings the puds so all I have to do is the main course! I have done an apricot stuffed, red wine marinated, boneless leg of lamb several times, but we all go to one of the other homes on NYD and she is doing lamb for that so I think I’ll do Sauerbraten this year, with a big old hunk of beef. Served with sweet and sour red cabbage with apples!
A wonderful card ...and a lovely design. I want to look for the magnetic tool you sometimes use for picking up dies. I'm not sure, but I think it's magnetic tweezers!? Do you have a name for this tool?
America has a phase “Best laid plans … “ which refers to “no matter what Y O U have in mind, there is NO betting that the results will be what / where / how you planned!!”
“The best laid plans of mice and men” is said to have originated from a poem by the Scot Robbie Burns… interesting isn’t it! My plans often get scuppered along the way!🤣🤣🤣
@ It just seemed, as you worked with the die cuts, that you might have been happier if the stem a b o v e the top leaf had been a bit longer. That way YOU’d have been able to decide just where you’d want the flower head in relation to the leaves. As it was, you HAD to have the top leaf right up under the flower head (like it or not!) which seemed, to my eye, to fight you just a bit. I’m guessing that you’re such a mellow soul, M Y observations didn’t even come to mind !! Forgive me. I’ve spent t o o m a n y years responsible for finding exactly just these kinds of “kinks” so they can be fixed before others can find fault with the system / product / whatever!
@@kkrolf2782 oh, I didn't intend giving that impression. I think maybe I was more keen on trying to say that anyone using this die should take care to get the orientation of the flower correct in relation to the stem. Many times I've seen cards where flower heads couldn't possibly be attached to the stems (IRL), because of the angle or placement of the flower heads. I think the dies are fab😊
@@Chrissieannie Ahh, Yes! And it’s oh so apparent how much fun you have working with Gummiapan dies! I went on line here in The States (perhaps a year ago??) to see if they were available, but to no avail. SOME day I’m sure they’ll hit our shores! Be well and Happy New Year to you, your husband, and the rest of your family!
They absolutely do end on the 24th which is when Advent ends with the birth of Jesus. Gummiapan give crafters the benefit of a little bit extra should they wish to choose that option!
