The two moments I couldn't handle, Lexa hesitating to say "that's why I..." and then the last words from Lexa after Clark said "I love you". I cried so much when Lexa said "I'll always be with you" with her little smirk. I know she had to die but it's so horrible. My heart hurts but they're even more incredible with this music to show their story.
I'd like to add to my previous point that when Lexa said "That's why I..." the reason she didn't say what they both knew she was going to say was because she didn't want to test fate. Last time she said she loved someone she ended up with Costia's head on her bed. She couldn't bring herself to lose Clarke. Clarke knew and understood why she wouldn't say it hence she jusy reacted with kissing her. Their eyes and actions said everything they couldn't. When they pulled apart momentarily, the reason Lexa had a tear rolling down her face from crying was because she knew Clarke understood and felt the same. In the city of light when Clarke told Lexa she loved her she didn't care anymore. Lexa was gone from the real world, never to return and she knew she would regret never saying it to her. Lexa had always protected her. Made her happy, put her needs before her very own and made sure Clarke felt loved instead of being told she was loved. I don't think Clarke will ever get over Lexa because she feels somewhat to blame for her death. She shouldn't have been there in her own eyes. But Clarke hasn't lost Lexa forever. She is in Madi. Madi loves Clarke so much because she not only was raised by Clarke but also feels ans understand the love Lexa had for her. She can see their love from two sides. An outsider and as Lexa. Clarke can see it in Madi and sees this as a chance to do right by Lexa while also showing Lexa that peace was possible. That she still succeeded even after death. Madi is the only one in the universe that understands Clarkes pain, her heartache and her love. Clarke will continue in Lexa's footsteps because she feels both protected still by Lexa and as though she is being guided. Clarke and Lexa may have had a tragic ending. But the flame gives Lexa her second chance. Madi is too like her to not be her successor even before the flame. Lexa ans Clarke will never end. It will never be over for them because they are fated to be together. Lexa AND Clarke deserved better. . . You don't have to agree with me on this but I believe this is the best answer for me. Please don't attack my view of this because it doesn't replicate yours. Thanks
@@RNjben ah I'm sorry I didn't mean for anyone to get upset/cry oof. They just had such an epic love story that will forever leave a mark on my life. (I fully intend on showing my kids the 100 and in particular Clexa when they're my age)

the 2 scenes i find most beautiful of them is when clarke is holding a knife to lexas throat and only then does lexa realize what she has done to clarke .. the second scene isn’t necessarily with those 2 , but when madi tells clarke that betraying her was lexas deepest regret . that shit hit HARD .
