There is a new No Train Horn Zone town in Ohio that started on Saturday. I filmed the last trains with horns on Friday. Anyway, that bike rider really got the surprise of a life when he realized there was a second train coming. Lol
You need to make sure that another train is coming after the first one. If you didn't see it or trying to go on the crossing after the first train had past and the crossing gates are still down. Always look and listen for trains coming at the crossing. And also to know that the gates are still down.
i myself live on the new high speed corridor that's being built for brightline to operate 100 mph on a daily basis, and there have already been some near misses on the tracks, and most of us who live in florida heard about the grandma and grand-daughter that got struck on the first day of brightline resuming service. but the point of this comment is,when you come across a railroad crossing in the wild, IF THE GATES ARE DOWN, STAY OFF THE DAMN TRACKS UNTIL THE GATES GO UP FULLY!!!!!!!
Where the hell are you in Canada? I'm in Saint John, New Brunswick, and we have horns going all the time, day and night, this spring we'll have 3 railroads here, CN, the local New Brunswick Southern and CP is coming back after leaving in 1990.
@@cc-xu5tr There are idiot drivers everywhere in America these days! Sometimes they actually look away from their smart phones for a second and look at the road!
Here in Oregon they have recently made it legal for bicyclists to roll through stop signs. My guess is that also might include railroad crossing gates. Hopefully Florida politicians aren't as stupid as Oregon's. Ours have the intelligence of an orange.
I dunno what it is, but I'll be 51 in March, and fart jokes are still as funny as when I was 15 in high school. LOL But on a serious note, don't be an asshole like that dude in the red car. You cannot always rely on the RR crossing signal to work or be accurate and timely when it does, especially in a no horn zone. Take your life seriously, I'm a policeman in Washington DC and I've seen people hit by the Amtrak train a couple of times in my 24 years. You will not survive most likely and your loved ones will have to have a closed casket funeral for what's left of you, don't do that to your loved ones.

It would've been hilarious if there would've been a cop there on the other side of the tracks when that bicycle dude crossed over.
