Missed opportunity to have Mario try to put on an Iron Koopa Shell and wear it like a shellmet, but it's too heavy and he gets crushed
plot twist : He already knew he can't wear it,cause he tried it before
I bet that after he’d jump, the moment he lands again the shell would compress his spine like an accordion
Y'know, Iron Koopas sound like they could actually be a cool new enemy type.
It like the iron koopa have been well trained
They would probably work like the koopas that chase you in their shell in mario world.
*They can be immune to fire,and you need a mushroom to get them into their shell.*

I feel like if Iron Koopas are strong enough to cause Mario to go flying into the air then wouldn’t that mean they are strong enough to not go into their shells when jumped on?
The shells are the strong part but the koopas themselves are like regular koopa troopas

Soy el único que nota que cada juego que pasa los coopas son más listos y fuerte en los primeros juegos ellos solo Iván de izquierda a derecha y otros se suicidaban y solo avían 2 variantes y aora aste pueden usar power up y atacar con armas y hay como 50 especies de cumpas cada uno con su avilidad única eso significa que están evolucionando

@@joeygamer5387 those don’t count they only used those once. The Cataquack had more appearances.
There's the Koopa Striker and Soopa Striker from Super Paper Mario...though they use other empty shells instead of their own.
There's also blue Beach Koopas from Super Mario World.
Although they don't _throw_ their shells much as they _kick_ them if they walk into them or if one comes at them head on (they actually stop it before they kick it, though they'll skid backwards a bit upon catching it).

I think it's has to do with being on solid ground versus being on a tilting platform.

Those iron shell koopas look very painful. Even I cringed for Mario, and all I did was watch.
A blue shell Paratroopa, eh? Wonder if this one will wind up joining the Goomba Revolution. They may have only recruited Goombas so far, but nobody ever said they couldn't recruit other minions too, considering Bowser is temporarily stuck at the bottom of his lava pit as Dry Bowser.

Let's be real, Iron Shell Koopas wouldn't do well in castles. Lava is everywhere heating up the place by a lot and the iron would burn them, and considering all the trapped heat, they'd basically become a roast turtle.
