Im sure by now youve learned a lot through your first year of CP SLO, Make sure to enjoy SLO and your college experience in general! Recently graduated and watching this video really makes me miss it all, and the view from the new dorm is sick!
How’s the school in general? I was looking at universities and Cal Poly seemed like a good option. My tennis coach went there like 10 years ago and he said it’s a good school. But that was 10 years ago 😂 idk what it’s like now
My_name_is_ overall, I think it is a really good school, just make sure you compare it with others before deciding
@nico Thanks for this video, brought a bunch of memories haha. Shouldve done a video of the Rec Center. I graduated in2015. @2TeenTwenty - Its a great school imo. The learn by doing philiophy is amazing, specially if you're planning to go in as a business or engineering major. The biggest benefit is the size of the classes, you will always have the ability to talk to your teachers unlike any of the UC, and tuition is cheaper. The only real downside is that, SLO doesnt have a large market like LA, SD, or the Bay with respect to possibly interning for a company while going to school. After graduating, I realized that San Jose State, CSULA, CSULB, CSU Pomona might have been better choices to work part-time for a design firm. Either way God blessed me with a job, and many companies love to recruit from Cal Poly, and are willing to give you a chance. Another note is, dont get stuck on the name of the college. At the end of the day, you have to make a name for yourself, and learn to use the resources available to you. Learn to master your craft, and enjoy your time wisely in college. The 1st year will be the toughest, as you will have to learn to balance friends, classes, homework, and if Poly is still a quarter system like when I was going there, being ready for midterms you 2nd or 3rd week of school, and having finals the week after Thanksgiving. Aside from all that, SLO is beautiful. If I could, I would move there. Hopefully one day. God bless you, and hope whatever choice you make is the best. Much Love. Peace

Wow.... Class of 2015 here. The desserts and food considerations looks to be seriously prioritized. New dining hall? Oh man.... We use to be so Spartan. You guys are lucky! Hopefully tuition didn't increase too much.

Hey, I chose the middle meal plan, then I switched to the lowest during 2nd quarter. But, I think they changed all the meal plans around

I heard pcv and cv are really nice because they are apartments especially bc of covid. But I’m sure any of them are great, they all have their ups and downs
