Love this podcast ep, just wanna put my 2 cents in. Csgo is the hardest most peak game in terms of mechanics for mnk hands down (and the Danes are insane at it for sure) but I get where they are saying it’s not hardest to aim. Buts we talking about M AND K not just mouse aim. TLDR csgo is peak and id body anybody in the comments in it
starcraft? also hyped for deadlock, crazy high skill ceiling on that game
if mouse aim is meh then why bring up the keyboard aspect of the game? genuinely asking. I don't see how keyboard skill matters as much as apex , overwatch, and especially starcraft.
@@ImZym in cs your gun is only accurate if you are not moving. But counter strafing, bunny hopping, head boosts are all common ‘movement’ techs that were basically invented by counter strike. All those should be known if ur a competitive gamer. In the games you mentioned I could flip a fish across my keyboard but because I have good dexterity my hit shots would still be ‘good’ in counter strike if I’m holding right and want to shoot somebody but I hold left for a half a second instead of a quarter of a second when trying to stop, he shoots me first. Also those games have massive health pools. In counter strike you are always potentially a bullet from death, and often you get to half health or lower with no way to heal very early into the round.

@@casull2041 saw someone else say StarCraft too and idk I have no context never really played/watched. Deadlock is insanely fun though. Another one where aim is important but keyboard mechanics will carry. Especially with the movement gap, and things like infinite ammo slides, you can get some awesome mechanic chaining

Nahhhhh no aim assist is better in cod and only because most cods don’t have recoil (you don’t even need to recoil smooth) I turned aim assist off in cod because you’d constantly switch from shooting one person to another person running by with its aim assist. Last cod I played was bo4, saug + no aim assist felt way too crisp. It’s like you forget people are just as much of a gamer as you are, cmon Mande stop taking the piss with this age old argument

There’s a big difference between Cod Pros, There’s was the niche who Sniped (Trickshotting and Feeds) notable being Scope, Depv, Jev, etc etc, Then there was the Pro Players like Scumpi, Nadeshot, Tenser, etc etc and then there were the Normies and Content Players.. in my opinion, the Sniper players were far better and whenever they picked a gun up they were far more better, while the Pros knew Mechanics like drop shotting etc, but the point being that Sniper Pros can easily learn how to be pro, but a Pro Players can never be the level the Snipers were at. I don’t know specifically when pc cod became a thing but Console players were always better.

We are talking about pros here, and the truth is, pro cs isnt just insanely demanding to be pixel perfect precise, but you need to co ordinete to the minute details, stay calm, perfect comms, know all the tricks on all the maps, know all the smoke/flash/molotov lineups on every map, you need to prepare for the team you are playing next and make your strats fot that perticular match up and much more. In apex you are just half-winging it at best bro, now you stfu.
