- Manipur Violence: Manipur witnessed another round of violence Sunday, resulting in at least two deaths, including that of a policeman, in separate instances of firing. This came even as Chief Minister Biren Singh said that around 40 Kuki militants - who he said were targeting civilians - have been killed so far by security forces.Singh did not specify the period during which the militants were killed.

Resident of Assam here. In our town, large group of Meitei Hindus have been brought for shelter ( refugees) whose houses were burnt by the Kuki groups. Not just the property damage, they were harmed too.
Its disgusting to see these people now defending their heinous and savage act by fabricating the stories.
Go to any nearby town which shares boundaries with Manipur. You will see the people who had to run with their lives.

As per agreement all the cadres and all the weapons were in the camps and were inspected regularly by the AR. The innocent youths were compelled to defend their land with the available license double/single barrel gun. Taking the opportunity the state forces led ARAMBAI TENGOL AND MEITEI LIPUN attacked the tribals with thousands of automatic, sophisticated weapon which they get from several police station and training centre at imphal, many tribal youths were killed, many house were burnt down, thousands were displaced and took shelter in the forest. Unfortunately, those innocent youth who laid down thei life in protection of their land were illegally term by Manipur CM as TERROTIST. We appeal to the Govt. Of India to look into the matter and take stern action against Biren Singh govt. And save the tribals of manipur🙏
