So glad you did a first reaction to Moving On. Beautiful song and video. I lost my baby twin boy at 4 weeks, with no warning and I often watch this and remember him. His twin sister is still with me and beautiful but I miss his little face, even ten years later.
I’ve been trying to get others to react to this song and video for a really long time and then I came across your channel and looked through your reactions and saw this! I subscribed to your channel immediately. James is such an underrated band and they have great videos to go along with their songs.
Mike and Ginger, Tim Booth wrote this song after he lost his Mother, about the same time I lost mine, and I couldn't watch this without crying for such a long time. Last year he wrote another song 'Recover' after his wife lost her Father from Covid, and again, around the same time I lost my Father-in-law, I seem to follow his pattern in life as Tim and I am so grateful for him music, Also if you watch the 'Living room session' version of this song you will see he couldn't even sing the song without crying as it is all so raw still at the time, x
Paul, I watched it live at The Royal Albert Hall on the tour in which it was released. He was surprisingly composed singing “Moving On” but when he sung “All I’m Saying” which was about a close friend he lost to Cancer, he was struggling big time. Such an amazing band. Seen them three times.
I must say that I must have lived a very sheltered life as I’ve never heard of this group either although I must say that I don’t know much of late 80s or 90s unless they were pretty big and played on radio. Enjoyed this song ❤️🤘🎸🇦🇺
Please react Gan gan wigandi on indonesia XFactor 2021. A man with female tone. He sings Rosa's song(the judges wo wear pink dress). Now trending 3rd on Indonesia youtube. What kind of voice of him, falseto, tenor, alto or another???....🙏🙏🙏 ~Indonesia song title Hati yang kau sakiti. Judika also there in that audition, he is one of the judges. Just go to Channel X Factor ID for the original video
Mike & Ginger would you please do a reaction video for this amazing 15 year old, her name is Emily Linge and she is performing, "HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE RAIN" ( CCR Cover) She's another one like Lucy Thomas that is using UA-cam to get her music out to the masses and it's working. She has some really cool covers and original music posted on her channel. She is also a world class tennis player and she plays six instruments. She's phenomenal on the piano....
Superb to see you Canadians reacting to another Manchester band. Did you know they were the Smiths support act? Ginger you have to stop distracting me with your outfits.....
It’s not really weird at all. It’s his mother fading away before his eyes, he’s trying to stop it but he winds up realising that it’s time to let her pass.
I love James and was recently lucky enough to meet Tim booth and he wrote this song about his mum passing away , I cry every time I watch this video ❤

Such a sad yet beautiful song about his mother dying. The string dolls are him and his mum
James are one of my all time favorite bands - the new Orchestral Version of Moving On is amazing (as is the rest of the orchestral album)
Beautiful and heartbreaking . I can’t watch this video without tears and thinking about all those I’ve lost. I’m on my way, leave a little light on.

I’m so sorry to hear about your losses. ❤️That’s a little eerie how they line up - G

@@MikeandGinger Thank-you guys, much appreciated, x
@@MikeandGinger The live lounge version of this is so emotional, and Tim can't hold it together, x
This came out just after my husband died. So emotional.
Great choice! Saw them with the Psychedelic Furs and Flaming Lips a few years back, great live act. Still lobbying for Sabaton Christmas Truce

If you liked that, give “Say Something” a try. It’s my favourite. Also, “Laid” is fun - G
First saw this band in Manchester 1985. They formed from the same high school as me :))))
Haven't heard James in the longest time. That was great to come back to them.
Enjoyed that. Peppy is good for Christmas 👌🏻
@Pedro Alves Will do. Cheers
Check out the version of this from the living room sessions. It’s so sad it will destroy you
But I don’t want to be destroyed 😉 - G
Awesome video!! Wow
Nyimak..

If you liked this song and the video you should check out "Dear John" that's a great song and another animator at the helm.

So sad
Cool song but weird video.
