Oregon Sunstone Mining 2020

Oregon Sunstones are extremely rare. Fully transparent, top gem quality of colored and or copper schiller sunstone is not found anywhere else in the world. Value of this amazing gem ranges from $8 US dollars per carat all the way through $4,500 US dollars per carat.
We stayed at the public dig site and drove over to Spectrum mine. It was a great experience friendly staff. Just be prepared with water and food the nearest down from that location is around 30 miles off the dirt roads.

No you can’t find diamonds there. Only Oregon Sunstones. They are beautiful once cut into a princess cuts. I will be getting them back in 3 weeks I will post how they came out. It’s a lot of fun
