Never played rust till console just always watched it on Twicth. I'm absaloutly addicted and I haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to exploring all the game has to offer. Still haven't even done a run of launch site or any exploring for that matter and I'm so addicted man. Really hope they update this game regularly. Also would love a creative 100 player mode
It sounds super simple but he doesn't mention that people are going to constantly try to kill you and you're not going to be able to get any of this done unless you have a groups of three or more or it is early morning or late night
I’m on this map. Upper snowy area where sewer is. That green ring. Is rich with nodes because NOBODY on my server goes there. They just do sewer and bounce.
Sewers is op in this map easy 350 scrap if your lucky and hit everything and scrap everything and the min your done with your first run everything already respawned and boom round two
On my server are more than 5 bases down at sewer it really difficult as a solo xD but sewer is op especially with the green card it’s the most worthwhile green card monument
Yup, there’s no bases here, I may have to set up a farming base and set up shop. I’ve made to runs for nodes a handful of times and ran into no one. Insane

Me and a friend were getting slapped over and over then 2 more buddies hopped in with us and the 4 of us are pretty much running launch. wiping people all day. Boxes full of stolen guns and loot. 30+ auto turrets in our base and 20 or so shotgun traps

You should build a base before you go outpost between airfield and dome then you can recycle after and you want to hit dome as often as you can to get a weapon or a ton of high quality and gun parts
Me and my duo partner built right between launch site, satellite and bandit camp like just above satellite. This made us get raided while spinning the wheel at bandit (put 10 scrap on 20 and won btw) we heard the explosions, ran over with pistols and bows took one out reclaimed our base and then killed the other, the kept running back with guns, explosives and ammos and we kept racking up loot. Probably the best thing that’s happened to us on this game yet
Also we were scared our base was gonna get raided again so we slept in the bandit camp and then when we got back on we were dead. Do they just attack you if you sleep there or what cause we had everything on us and then now it’s all gone
@@otalkthehippo9053 yes I think so, at outpost me and my friend brought our guns to outpost and got killed. I saw on a sign at outpost ‘no sleeping’ so I’m guessing yes.
My little 2×2 is the only base left in the desert. There's a large clan near HQM quarry. I think they've taken pitty on me or they don't think my base is worth raiding
I built by Bandit camping thinking it's pretty solid. after mining rock I walk behind my base with a 6 man clan hiding on rocks and bushes with a freshly built compound, I chatted "sorry" "Goodbye", they said "no problem", I think I need to move out
@@bagelz3359 bandit camp was my spot for the longest time, but so much traffic through there. You'll get unwanted attention. I figured out where the Toxic Kos Clan is located and built as far away as possible
19:53 “what your not gonna be doing is killing naked’s on the beach”. Wish it was like that. Hazmats on console find it easier to kill newbies and steal everything they’ve farmed than to go fight people with equal equipment .
Been watching rust videos for the past couple of years and to be finally playing it is the dream i run solo mainly and im commiting to the game so i can get better ive done it with other genres so only a matter of time before i start making mad plays!
I would say that my group is one of the strongest on the server im playing on but I still learned a lot from this. I never really know how to start but once I get some gear I'm generally alright so this vid helped a lot. Thanks! Keep up the great content
I’m loving the game I recently teamed up with 8 other random people to raid a bigger clan we had a total of 9 people from 4 different clans teaming up and working together to get rid of these dudes it was amazing
Find scuba equipment and then you can farm the ocean you get tons of scrap and there is no one around plus you can see for miles underwater if you have the goggles
Built my base at the top beach right above launch site, super overpowered being able to boat anywhere with nobody bothering me you can take a boat all the way to lighthouse to do a recycling run and get a green card you can also boat to harbor and airfield so you can run all the card loot you can also boat to a iceberg to drop airdrops. Also tons of resources
Bad advice 1 min in. The harbor is by far better than other two for two reasons. Tons of barrels and a refine to get low grade fuel to get that forge right away. Other monuments is simply random crate loot still doesn’t give you a forge to get that metal door and those fragments
I got this game just yesterday. So I'm consuming every bit of info I can find. Newb Beach is definitely annoying, spawn in and bam, dead over and over. All the servers have about 90 people in them, you can't spit without seeing someone, lol. I'm gonna keep trying though. I'm more of a solo player so I'm sure it's always going to be difficult
Be warned in bandit camp the recycler is dangerous because people can sit in the corner by recycler and kill you and just wait 30 mins to be non hostile again
@@kaitlynnharmon9721 you can't loot bodies in bandit or any safe zone but they wait for you to put stuff into the recycler and then kill you for the stuff in the recycler

Imo I would build between harbour and airfield, the amount of boxes people miss in airfield is amazing. Run harbour then run along the road farming barrels to airfield then recycle at outpost, it’s a path I rarely find contested as the huge groups run launch and I’m not sure if cargo or any of the rigs are in this so this path might be more contested but noobs normally think airfield is super contested but most of the time it’s coffee can kits and grubs that go there and because of the noobs and new players thinking it’s a death sentence, they stay at light house, oxums/supermarket and harbour but if you contest harbour with guns, after people who live in the area die 4-5 times because of you they refrain from going there because they think you have no life and become salty. Watched till the end because rust content that I have not watched is rare and I am one of the people with no life
Mr cereal overdrive no one has done this but reckon you could look in those locations for ideal and maybe show a good specific spots easy to build and defend?

I had bad luck on the north end of the map basic locks so it was clear I was a solo I would grind all day and get raided at night 3 days in a row of constant grinding and losing everything before I get on the next day is rough love the game just wish the monthlys would give me more time to get my feet under me I am however doing really well on the weeklys 🤷♂️

I built near airfield, about a 30 minute run to bandit camp (30min because I’m carrying all my loot and it feels like forever). It’s a nice little place being close to the safe zone. Think next wipe I’ll set up my own vending and such for nakeds. Any tips for that?
I’m pissed rn. I just got my first gun in the game at the outpost. Realising I don’t have any bullets, I leave to go get sulphur. An animal starts to go after me so I take out my bow to kill. Then I get shot at by the turret. I was well outside the safe zone so I shouldn’t get shot, right. I go back to look for my loot and get shot again, this time as a naked with a rock in his hand. Am I doing something wrong?
If you show any type of aggression in a safe place the turrets will kill you. After they kill you, you will have to wait 30 mins until you’re able to enter that area again.
Learned loads thanks bro. Currently I am playing in this us server and every night we get raided. We have been nice and made friends with people, we make a full stone base with metal doors but even then we still get raided every night. They come through the roof. What can we do?

I got the game on console yesterday hoped on with my squad of 3 who also got the game and we were doing good researched some stuff but still no bean can grenade or Sachels or flamethrower so we can't raid anyone but we got raided abt 45 min ago and now we have to restart 🥲
I’ve been running airfield with 1 fuse since beta and been able to get red card not sure if it’s bug or not but I’ve never had to put a fuse inside before the blue key door
Well I was just farming wood, a guy starts shooting at me, I make it back to my base as a solo, pull out the SMG I was fortunate to find go back out and kill him. Then his team mates come all together, and raid my base. Not. Cool.

I love the game so UA-camr isn't gonna change my mind. So I think if your into survival game and you dont fall in love with loot then its probably your game.
Any help with the attempting to connection issues where it won’t allow you to load into the server I fix it yesterday by deleting and reinstalling on ps4 but it happened again and I deleted it and reinstalled but didn’t work . Please any help is anything
For me desert is the best base location, you have outpost satellite and airfield also filled with recourses. and we researched C4 an AK rocket launcher, flame thrower, satchels, and explosive 5.56. Tons of loot and on my server it’s super peaceful in the outpost area, we also raided like 5 people already it’s a pretty good spot.
This is exactly how I play but I find it hard to explain to my friend this video is perfect. (I have never played rust before the pre order beta but did this naturally) I think the most active area in this first wipe so far has been dome. The place is always fun some great pvp while jumping around.
Spent about 5 hours building a base and getting decent loot. Just for some asshole to use a blow torch to burn down my upgraded wooden wall 😐😑 I didn’t even know that was a thing 😂 My base looked so worthless and mfs still wanted to loot it 💀 I’m tired of having neighbors

Should add that satellite you will take radiation. The other spots you don't need any protection for radiation
If any one of struggling on console make sure you aren’t solo look for teammates early on so you have less of a chance of getting insided

HQM Quarry is underrated. Built a small outpost near by and just farm resources with low grade when I am AFK. I have only had the stuff stolen once.

My first spawn and first second in the game got killed. Got killed 10 times to get to my buddy’s base to join him. All I do is die lol
I built near airfield, about a 30 minute run to bandit camp (30min because I’m carrying all my loot and it feels like forever). It’s a nice little place being close to the safe zone. Think next wipe I’ll set up my own vending and such for nakeds. Any tips for that?
Make sure the vending machine and main base aren’t connected. If people see a good machine or profitable one they might raid it

I’m pissed rn. I just got my first gun in the game at the outpost. Realising I don’t have any bullets, I leave to go get sulphur. An animal starts to go after me so I take out my bow to kill. Then I get shot at by the turret. I was well outside the safe zone so I shouldn’t get shot, right. I go back to look for my loot and get shot again, this time as a naked with a rock in his hand. Am I doing something wrong?

That happened yesterday to my friend, we were raiding a base that wasn’t even that close to the outpost and he got lit up and killed.
If you show any type of aggression in a safe place the turrets will kill you. After they kill you, you will have to wait 30 mins until you’re able to enter that area again.

Well I was just farming wood, a guy starts shooting at me, I make it back to my base as a solo, pull out the SMG I was fortunate to find go back out and kill him. Then his team mates come all together, and raid my base. Not. Cool.

For me desert is the best base location, you have outpost satellite and airfield also filled with recourses. and we researched C4 an AK rocket launcher, flame thrower, satchels, and explosive 5.56. Tons of loot and on my server it’s super peaceful in the outpost area, we also raided like 5 people already it’s a pretty good spot.

I think the most active area in this first wipe so far has been dome. The place is always fun some great pvp while jumping around.
Spent about 5 hours building a base and getting decent loot. Just for some asshole to use a blow torch to burn down my upgraded wooden wall 😐😑 I didn’t even know that was a thing 😂
