Beautiful dresses ladies. 🍓🧶💙🌈
Thank you! 🤗
So nice to see you both again. 😂 Lovely dresses ❤
Would love to see you both for Vlogmas. 🎄 Love all your passed Vlogmas vlogs. 🎁
You both look lovely! Rachel - that hair cut and colour suits you so much! Nikki - that dress is perfect on you. Thank you for sharing your makes. ❤
Loving Rachel’s bob as well!
Both your dresses are gorgeous! And it's so nice to have you back "on air"! I'm planning some jeans making. I'm terrified of making jeans, but this winter I actually have the time, som there is really no excuse. I've bought the pattern (Helene jeans by Anna Allen), I have tons of fabric and all the notion on hand, so now I just need the courage.
I’m avoiding a camel coat…..it’s been about 3yrs, finished the welt pockets and got no further 😂 it’s taunts me from inside my cupboard. I have no idea why I can’t bring myself to finish it!
You've already done the welt pockets - surely that's the hardest bit out of the way? You've just built it up in your mind, but it'll be much easier than you think from here. You can totally do it!
Oh I think you both look gorgeous ladies! I think I voted for both these dresses as I have both these patterns that I have never made!! Seeing yours I am definitely pulling them out and putting them high on my priority list! Fabric choice is lush lush lush! You smashed it! ❤
You both look lovely. I would definitely happily make either one. X
I have missed you two, glad you are back 😁
Love both the dresses, Racheal your hair is perfection ❤.Summer tops are on the table here.
You both look amazing, those dresses are fabulous and I can tell by the smile on your faces you love wearing them. I haven’t worn a dress for a long while but you may have changed my thoughts on that. Just need to get me some DMs 😉
It’s been a while, I hope you two are healthy and happy and life is being good to you. I always worry that Rachel is sick again.
Both dresses look fab! I also have some winter t-shirts cut out last year that just need sewing up. My excuse is that I moved this year and haven't had time to set up my sewing room but it would be nice to be able to wear those shirts this winter. Thanks for sharing.
Both of look lovely in the dresses👏👏👏 I wasn’t sure about either dress and choose different dresses but I was wrong - these are perfect! I have 2 coats I’ve said I was going to make- 3 years later and neither is done. One is a waxed canvas rain coat and the other a winter coat……
Hard to decide but I think the black is my favourite. Great to see you both back doing videos you were missed😊
Has the gremlins taken your Facebook page again?? 😢
Both dresses are gorgeous. I’ve been procrastinating about the Pattern Emporium Be Mine Balloon Sleeve top for weeks. Pattern and fabric are sitting on the table looking at me😁
Jump in, you won't be disappointed. I haven't made one with the full sleeves yet 😂😂 but I can get a short sleeve out of a metre so am using all those 1 metre pieces up into some summer tops. Then I'll go full balloon 😂
You both look amazing. Thanks for the video.
I love both your dresses! they are really gorgeous! 💝Vicki
Lovely dresses 😍 you both look lovely and it’s great to have you back xxx
Both gorgeous dresses ladies.. Love them both 💖💖👌. Still not made jeans.. even though I wear them most days 🤷... Must do better 😜😘
Jeans is a big task, we are sure you’ll get to it when your ready
Love it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love both of these dresses! These patterns have been on my wish list for quite some time, so it was so good to see them on you. You look lovely! I have cut out the Megan Nielsen Matilda dress, and I really like the look of it, but there are just soooo many pieces that I think I need to wait for more brain space to get on with it :)
Yay, thank you!
I think you both look fabulous! It is so great to see you both back in business.
I love them both! My fave is the one Rachel made, just because I love the thumb hole feature, but they're both lovely! I recently bought a pattern from IndiePattern on etsy..the chic dress pattern. I'd love to see you ladies make one! So glad you're back on YT! Happy New Year!
I like the wrap dress. It’s more fitted.
I just found your videos this week. I'm 75 but bought a sewing machine for my soon to be 15 year old Granddaughter. I'm going to recommend your videos for her. ❤We live in Wisconsin USA. I've been a sewist off and on my entire life. Bravo to you gals! I intend to watch every video. You make me so happy!
is this channel still active or finished?
Gorgeous dresses ladies😻Great to see your makes and reviews again. I really do like the Vikki Sews dress, so I may need to make that one😻 I have The Assembly Line Hoody Parka part cut out. Its still lying across my sewing room but I've had to stop as I've got a few personal issues just now. Hopefully I'll have time and feel like getting back in there to complete it soon 😿as I just think its a great pattern for walking in the rain! Thanks as always for sharing xx❤
I’m so glad you gals are back! For a while, I was kinda sad and figured you guys had a falling out over the denim series!! Lol! Obviously you are good and looking fabulous as ever!
Love the dresses and glad to know you are healthy and prioritizing you!
Love and miss you guys!!❤
Looking lovely, ladies 👗👗👗
Of the two I prefer Nikki's dress but well done both of you. When I am looking for a pattern I'm frequently put off by the way the garment is modelled. Anyway, I am into bra making at the moment. I have made bras in the past and, as they are made to my exact measurements, they are so much more comfortable to wear. I followed a class on Craftsy and made a sort of prototype so I knew which adjustments were needed but it fitted first time!! I have patterns for dresses, skirts and blouses but I have nowhere large enough for cutting out in my tiny home but I have had my back bedroom earmarked for my sewing/craft room which is now beginning to become a reality. I just need to organise my 'stuff'. Me and organising are not good bedfellows!!
I am working on mock-ups for pjs for my Mom and Sister. Once they're good to go, sewing them out of some manufactured silk. I'm not very experienced, so this ought to be interesting!
You both look so gorgeous and relaxed. Rachel I hope you getting better. I just finished making a copy of a Johnny Was midi dress in a burgundy burnout velvet which I lined. I love it.
I just finished the Lyra dress by Tilly and the buttons and I’m working on the nicks dress by closet core. I’ve made the lyra dress twice now and I think that’s it for that pattern for whatever reason it just doesn’t seem to go together very easily, and I’m finished with it. I have been unimpressed by Tilly on the buttons lately in both drafting and instructions. Your dresses are gorgeous. I have never seen Vicky sews pattern must have a look at their selection.
I loved seeing your dresses!!! This was a great idea from start to finish. It is nice to hear your thoughts on the construction of the dresses, the changes you made, what you liked about the patterns and how you feel wearing them. I learned a lot. My next project is a slip dress made out of some gorgeous silk I bought on a trip to Italy, but I'm so scared to cut into it, I think I need to make a practice dress first. I am avoiding that and also avoiding hemming the jeans I buy on sale promising myself I will hem them to the perfect length.
I love both of your dresses. You both look fabulous. I would so love the wrap dress for myself. I agree it is such a wearable classy dress and I love that check pattern. Each dress suits the wearer! Good job!
I've got the pattern and fabric to make hubby a coat.I've planned to make it over Christmas for the last 3 years it's yet to happen
Oh I have got the fabric and pattern for exactly the same coat for my husband! I also feel he isn’t going to wear it as much as I will want him to and also am not sure it’s his style haha - snap on everything as I’ve had it for about 3 years too 😂
Very nice dresses, I would love to make both of them, but I know that Iwould not find time for it 🙂
Both look fab. How is the skirt cross over in the wildwood?? Do these both pass the run /dance /stairs test??
Am avoiding starting a blazer. Now have 3 patterns prepped to go 😂
Yes there is a good crossover of the skirt in the Wildwood
Obviously you still need to be careful of gusts of wind but I didn’t have any inappropriate moments when wearing it the other day.
Could the Andie dress be made in a Ponte. I have the pattern and voted for it, love it
Gorgeous dresses, thanks ladies ❤️😁🌹
You both look fantastic! Well done.
Great video love both dresses, Nikki does the dress flap open when you walk or sit down, been procrastinating about making it. Rachel make the coat sounds great. I have had a leather jacket cut off for probably 5 years just need to courage to get it started :)
Hi Lynda
No it doesn’t flap too much. There is a large turn hem on both sides, so you could pin this and test it and make any adjustments you wanted too.
Obviously you still have to watch out for gusts of wind but I didn’t find I was even thinking about it
Thanks you have inspired me to make it up love your videos@@StitchSisters
Love both of these dresses and the boots are fabulous too 🥰
You both look stunning!
Lovely dresses!
