EXCELLENT! This is my favorite Moody Blues songs. Fantastic playing Kurt and the tone on all the electric and acoustic guitars sound just like the original recording. Great mix also. 👏👏👏🎸🎸
Thank you very kindly! This is one of those really good songs that you never hear anywhere - I was sorry to finish it 😀 I thought the vocals were good too in the backing track...
WOW!!! This is awesome. I'm just now beginning to learn this song. I've got the chords and opening lick, but now woth this video I can start to put it all together in the right sequence. THANK YOU! I play a Seagull acustic and a 1971 Les Paul Custom (black, 2 humbucker pickups).
Am to Bm open E string: to C like a 2nd position open A chord, To D/F# (Bass Tone) down thru thew progression, The Second Time Am to D second position with an F# on the D string Open E 1st string Very difficult for some to hear, Subtlty, Specificity, I cannot hear much!
You f****** Rock bro good luck though finding a keyboard player that can play Mike Pender's parts especially with A mellowtron you can't find a mellowtron anywhere. . I had to show it to my family and all sorts of people they thought that that was all real just real orchestra how to tell him the reason that the orchestra was put in there was the backup the MELLOWTRON . I'm probably spelling it wrong but I asked consider the first sampler and the first synthesizer because they had all those recorded parts of pianos and then violin's flutes and pretty much every Symphony thing you could find Oregon's Horns there's even some other models that have a Bigger version I have 2 keyboards built into it and they have Hope bunch of Special Effects sounds and stuff like that they Used To use for making movies so half the melatron was for your typical music stuff and The Other half of the military unlike it was all Special Effects all sorts the weirdest of Rain storms Thunder gunshots earthquakes and a million other things Space rays Lasers this was the first Real synthesizer the Chamberlain Was one version I believe the 1 version we had here was kind of a field version and then the military but you gotta have good tape reels and after some time those tape reels die but I saw where people still have old tapes from the 1960s brand new ready to repair any melotron that swore down is the tape reels go to s*** like all tape real's 8 track tapes VCR tapes young people wouldn't even know what I'm talking about I don't think LOL. I did just recently see a synthesizer keyboard that people were playing that is like a digital copy of the melotron but it will never be thick and real sounding like that. Oh this flat technology is nowhere near as thick is the old tape real technology. Although it's guy's flaws it also has a lot of warmth in life that digital and stuff like c d's and computer chips just they compress everything in a bad and take away the life sound and that's the same thing for all these digital guitar stuff that everybody's wanting to use yeah they sound better now than it used to be but it's still nothing compared to a real classic tube amplifier like a Marshall you sound like you're using a Marshall or something really nice there sounds good if his digital is good digital we all know Analog is the absolute best when it comes to synthesizer keyboards or guitar amplifiers guitar pedals. A great rock and man and You sound pretty good too but I would like to hear you on a cranked Marshall for sure especially for those leads towards the end. You're pulling off that tone pretty good but it could use more power. But your playing is fantastic I plays well I gotta tell you a well done man well done .
