@user-ee6ju4mw1o that sounds really crazy! Stop lumping them all In one category! The ALDOC has the most corrupt guards ever! You cannot tell the guards from the inmates and that's unfortunate!
Nobody gives the inmates credit tho - y'all really think that those inmates don't know they have the advantage - 75% percent of those inmates don't want to hurt anybody or put anyone in danger - if something were to happen to a staff member I guarantee that there would be some inmates trying to help that staff member - all inmates are not violent - most have drug charges and just want to do their time and go home, so they are not trying to get themselves in a situation where they get more time - it is crazy how this guy never mentioned anything about the inmates not trying to take advantage of the situation (because they easily could if they wanted to) - and inmates develope relationships with staff members over the years - so the staff already know who they can trust and they know that most of the inmates would not try to harm them
Open up google earth and zoom in on any correctional facility in the country. Take a good look at the always empty recreation yards. You never see inmates outside enjoying the weather or catching some sunlight. It is consistent across the entire country. Staff shortages in the nations correctional facilities are shameful. It is because of these shortages that more and more inmates are brought to suffer. It's not to say that inmates never get to go outside. If they are lucky, they might get fifty minutes a week or fifty minutes twice a month. There simply isn't enough staff to safely monitor the inmates in the recreation yards. By depriving inmates of regular and consistent recreation you are effectively placing them and the staff into a "pressure cooker".
Correctional officers just go and do your job. Because you all know what's going on in those facilities. My son was murdered in bibb county Correctional facility. In 2017.
So many inmates have been killed lately at ls. It is a shame. Al continues to over crowd d facilities bc Al does nt care. The staffing, sometimes d inmates most times, dt even c an officer. Ls is drug infested. Inmates r dying from drugs. OmG. Hw could this be? Someone has to know abt these things. Somebody, Help, plz
We are just as worried about the corrupt guards and the abuse of the inmates.
