If you’ve heard it before really depended on where you lived in the late 70’s. I was 10 in 1976 and I lived in Santa Barbara, California (back when it was affordable and much better than it is now!) and the radio stations played it a lot. You’d also hear it in stores or restaurants. It wasn’t considered “cool” to like pop music back then, you had to like rock and hard rock, but this song was one that everyone seemed to like because it wasn’t goofy or disco.
I was 10-20 in San Diego in the '70s. I don't recall this song or group either. I can't say that I never heard it, but it may not have been that memorable. Maybe they didn't play it here on KGB or KPRI.

Long before generic playlists were pushed on us, there were hit songs that went unheard in other cities, provinces/states, and countries. This is new to me, it'll probably be played again. Thanks A&A.
Been a Silver fan since I saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. When I got into collecting vinyl records shortly after that, Silver's self-titled (and only) album was the first LP I ever bought. The rest of the album is amazing too. All I Wanna Do, Trust In Somebody, and Climbing in my opinion even rival Wham Bam in quality.
Man! I haven't heard this song in DECADES. But there could be a reason. It is okay, but a bit generic. I guess the lyrics were what got it on the radio, but probably the generic sound that kept it from being a lasting one-hit-WONDER. Wild Cherry's Play tha Funky Music was an actual "Wonder". The song is easy to listen to but I never want to go back to it. We agree to disagree on this one :-)
Never heard this song ….. but it sounds like I could have and don’t remember. In other words it sounds like many many songs from that period it’s nice. Would have been a natural for wide radio play
At the time of it's release,, this MUST HEAR classic caused so much controversy that most radio stations refused to play it,, The Buoys "Timothy"..TRUST ME on this one!!
Awful, 1 hit wonder crap ……IF it was a hit, which it wasn’t….. and a waste of todays reaction. Maybe I’m wrong and I always thought the purpose of this channel was to have young people listen to, and react to some of the more seminal and foundational songs in the history of rock and roll, pop, Motown, etc. Hence, my appreciation of their reaction to the magical mystery tour album on Patreon. But this song, even if people loved it in the day, is not significant in the evolution of rock ‘n’ roll.
Good points. They do use Mondays for some things that they know and wish to share with each other and us, which is okay sometimes. The problem is that they do so few videos, that they are missing some very top tier pieces, year after year. And I am mystified that David Bowie's "Golden Years" is only B-. Imagine trying to explain to Mr. Bowie that, "Yeah, that adventurous piece you brilliantly crafted with Brian Eno, only a B-, I'm afraid. Try better next time."
I don't often dislike songs but this is terrible. So much good stuff out there to choose from. This is just dumb--like someone sanded all the cool edges off of disco and put it out like a lump of coal in our collective music stockings.
Extremely catchy pop song. I'm a sucker for 70s pop. The fact that it has rarely been played since '76 makes it sound all the better.

Long before generic playlists were pushed on us, there were hit songs that went unheard in other cities, provinces/states, and countries. This is new to me, it'll probably be played again. Thanks A&A.
Number of songs A&A have done by Silver = 1
Number of songs A&A have done by the GOAT Prince = 0
You'd expect more from college grads.
It's also kinda amazing what you two consider "easy listening." Wait until you're in your 50s and discover actual easy listening.
We have some prince reactions on patreon, he just blocks or we would do more on here
Been a Silver fan since I saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. When I got into collecting vinyl records shortly after that, Silver's self-titled (and only) album was the first LP I ever bought. The rest of the album is amazing too. All I Wanna Do, Trust In Somebody, and Climbing in my opinion even rival Wham Bam in quality.
Wow, I missed this one in 1976-- so glad you dredged it up for us. I added it to my playlist-- thanks!
A sweet ditty about cannibalism.
If you liked that you'll like Sky High by Jigsaw. Also a one hit wonder. Very similar vein .
Jigsaw had another hit called "Love Fire". I like it better. Check it out 👍
See ya Wednesday ☮💜
I had totally forgot about this song. Thanks to you; I now have to work on forgetting it again. 😂
Beta testing the "Guest Room".... nice
Back Stage Access folks should have a Lil contest to name it
Sorry, but I thought this song mediocre at best. Somehow, I don't remember it. Maybe it wasn't a hit where I was.....
I don't often dislike songs but this is terrible. So much good stuff out there to choose from. This is just dumb--like someone sanded all the cool edges off of disco and put it out like a lump of coal in our collective music stockings.
