Where I live, people are mean to the bowling team because they don't consider it to be a sport. The more videos like this I watch, I realise that there may be some truth in this...because bowling is an ART! :)
Costs money and her daddy had money to pay for her training. There are millions out there with more talent but with poor families or just cannot afford to pay for training will never know. All BS.
accuracy on tough patterns is so much more important. Everyone is always worried about more hand more revs when the balls will take care of that, Kelly is so smooth and repeats shots with accuracy. Glad she is representing the U.S.
On one the tournament's on youtube with Missy Parkin, they said she's a rare exception and that really no other women use 16 pounds. Years ago, 16 lbs had an advantage, today the balls are so strong weight doesn't make much difference like it used to.
A lot of the men prefer 15 pounds, but just as much go 16. Women bowl mostly 15, but others use 16 (Missy Parkin for ex.) The main decision for 15 or 16 pounds has to do with how comfortable you are with your ball speed at those weights.
@NYYROCK A lot of professional bowlers (men an women) do not throw 16 pound balls because they may not be as comfortable with it and when they are bowling 50 or more games over the course of a few days it can become very exhausting to throw a heavier ball. So there are probably some women that throw 16, but I would assume many don't just like the men that can throw more consistently throughout a tournament with a lighter ball. As for league bowlers it is really up to the individual.

Gamebreaker
please someone tell me the bowling ball she was using ...
can you say Smooth!!!!
@CorporalBruno there's not many times when you bowl 256 and lose
@dtowndontbl1nk She could, its been a while since I've seen what she throws. So that could be.
@Billin007 Doesn't she bowl for Ebonite?
wrong, the highest paid female bowler was shannon pluhowsky, who made $40,000 in 2010...so...thats pretty much a entry level accountant salary
@ScubzMcTalBowling should have bowled 300.
%2 spin .. :D
@starv254 Its a bland ball when it comes to color. Im thinkin "the natural"
She makes more money in this "kitchen" then you ever will.
it looks like a gamebeaker but its hard to tell
depends on the job theres other jobs that pay more..
You dont make money in kitchens. You make food.
Did they come to bowl against the US OF A or sit around in pretty skirts? Better bring your A game if you want to beat our best! Oorah!
