Trying Poi in Hawaii

First time trying Poi at the Waiahole Poi Factory in Hawaii and I really enjoyed it! Poi is eaten as a rice substitute. It's sticky, a little tangy, and somewhat bland but it goes so well with kalua pork! I would definitely give it a try when you're in Hawaii and see if you like it! For dessert we went to try the iconic Malasadas from Leonards. It was pretty good but nothing outstanding. Very light and fluffy for sure!
