Your walk today brought back a lot of good ol’ memories to me because I grew up and walked everywhere you covered way back in the 70s. And I loved that part where you crossed over the road to the other side to view the Sickle Cell building by the canal. That place use to be a virgin land way back when where some Hausa farmers from inside Idi-araba planted vegetables for salad and some other fruits. It would’ve been a lot more if you had gone through LUTH entrance gate and exit at the back and from the exit gate leads to Mushin, Apesin st, Awoniyi st., and many more streets. Or go right to Fagbenro st. to Ojerinde st. Where I spent my childhood before you went through idi-araba to Ilasa…shout out to all that grew up around these areas in the 70s. Great job!

This guy is working real hard to bring Lagos to those of us in the Diaspora. Down memory lane for me having left Naija since the early 80s and haven't gone back since 1995. What still amazes me in Naija is how comfortable the citizens are living in abject depravity! Why are we still having open gutters with very dirty water breeding mosquitoes - causing malaria to thrive? This is baffling when one thinks about the enormous wealth God has blessed this country with. May God give us good leaders. There should be building codes that stipulate all gutters should be covered like the ones in Banana Island. Most of the roads are not paved with huge potholes, but Tununbu wants to build a highway /bridge from Lagos to Calabar that will cost 15 trillion Naira. Talk about huge misplacement of priority (won fete sile, won npa lapalapa)". That Yoruba adage simply means the leaders of Naija are suffering from leprosy but they are more worried about some curable eczema . God bless you my man for bringing this to us, but I'm not happy seeing how our beautiful people are suffering and smiling as the Late Black President, Fela, once sang! Na wah o!

Oh my world! This is memories of yester years. I went to CAC Church with my family on Bishop street, some of my friends lived on Bishop. I left home 3 decades ago but my heart sings of joy seeing these familiar places again. Well done my brother 😊 As a woman of faith I have to come back home sooner than later for sure. This is just great. Thank you.
