We need to open our eyes and stop passing on the blame. Our youth never lost land. It was gone long ago. You cant miss something you never had.. These are Excuses...
It all starts at home. Childhood trauma and drug addiction go hand in hand. We need to do better as parents.
The drug crisis isnt just on the Rez, its all over Canada...
Our youth are bored. Invest into safe spaces where they can watch tv, play video games, learn instruments, play pool. Bring in courses to help them succeed. Start with our youth

amazing and yes, no one can help an addict until the addict wants help, until then, it is not helpful to anyone to allow the addict to reek havoc in the lives in the community and their own home. i'm sure they will be welcomed back when they want help.

addict don't have that ability to help themselves. if they can, they will not choose to do drugs. and who knows when they first started the drugs, who is behind luring them? just imagine you are parent of an addict. you know he is just a child. he needs help. Can not just leave it to the addict to decide if they want help or not.

Evict their problem band members because they can’t deal with them. The evicted members go straight to Winnipeg and become the City and someone else’s problem. Blame it all on others and let them deal or pay for it.

Although many believe this is a popular view, not many realize we all need structure and someone to turn to when needed.
Not all are being truthful in any structure sadly however many want to help these communities and us outside of these communities as a whole in a healthy society.
Our question should be helpful in order to allow those who really do care find out why laws are being implemented to obstruct them from doing their job and who is behind the scenes making decisions that end up affecting the narrative so poorly?.
What will be useful is if we turn our attention to these common concerns.
When something doesn't feel right or has too many Ying and yang contradicting the other. Then there is no movement beyond that narrative, no real change for the good, then there is only a balance between the two, and that becomes stagnant.
No progress is made, and what should be a momentum into better salutations becomes hultted or stunted.
When the opposite of these conflicts are able to overcome this narrative and find other problems solve these concerns or issues, then that will make a difference into positive change for the better. Then, there is a salutation that begins a momentum that moves forward and is no longer at a standstill. As we are all stuck in the same old loop again. Never moving forward to be our best, but held back from evolving into being our true self-worth.
Us as a whole around the world need to see our true nature is to nurture. Not withhold values or ethical standards but build upon those achievements only then can we truly know the power in communitie and human nature as a whole and become one working together and is rewarding knowing how comforting it truly can be.

Over 30.5 billion given to reserves last year. It would be interesting to see the books as to how the Chiefs distribute the funds.
Dakota Tipi reserve has a population of 368 which183 live on the reserve and 205 that live off the reserve.
When will people realize government lost their purpose many moons ago, not only with the natives of the land also the non natives have lost faith in government.

you wouldn't put any blame on the people who invented it, the people who engineered it to be more addictive, or the people who imported it? it is not like this is a natural threat that we would have to deal with one way or the other.

Why won't they evict the meth dealers in my apartment building? They broke the backdoor, destroyed the mailboxes and threatened me with assault and then have assaulted me multiple times. The police will not arrest them and the landlord will not evict them. they all just tell me to move. I'm not going to be chased out of where I live because a meth dealer wants it so. The police/RTB the government leave people victims to violence. The landlord has not replaced mailboxes in 3 years and the government lets him. The door has been broken for years to facilitate meth dealering and the government ( RTB ) endorses it. They are fully aware of what is going on here and they do NOTHING.

Great native chiefs waking up to letting government step in to combat drug trafficking and also sexual assaults on women have to. Be addressed. Sexual offenders need to be stopped native women should feel safe walking at night in Dakota Montana. Sexual offenders has grown beyond control. In treaties government are the natives guardians, government needs to step in clean up sexual predators drug trafficking, being natives don't want non native pice on reserves it has been frustrating to watch sexual offences buold up. Its about time women on native reserves had RCMP in Canada and USA police have blessing from government to be slowed to police reserves. Chiefs have to stop hiding sexual predators and ignoring sexual occurances. Chiefs have to protect the women and children.

It's a cycle enforced by a psychopathic society. If there were no bums, how could the bosses threaten the workers over laziness?, without those who fall through the cracks, the threat of not toeing the line and ignoring your conscience doesn't hold sway. Capitalism requires poverty as a consequence of not fitting in, why else strive to be a billionaire?

With all technology utilized today and already many years ago, I am certain most of if not all ppl who are responsible for dealing drugs are very well known and are Anabeled.
This is a common tactic used all around the world. Oppression is a way of control, and negligence is used as a tool to continue these narratives.
I am proud of them for reaching out for help to implement structure or plans and advocate for their ppl.. more than what current goverments do and finding ways to keep their people learning more and using their land as a healing tool. My only concern is about how many red tape is still being used as a weapon on them to utilize their own land in the way Our Heavenly Father intended. To feed or house themselves is no different what is happening around the world.
They have been subject to many obstacles to overcome on their own and flourish and some how inspire many other ppl watching.
We are very invested in their best interest and reflect on our own circumstances outside of First Nations' reserves.
They have still managed to uphold many traditional ways and also utilized other helpful resources in other faiths and resources that help their's and others along the way.
I know they have way too many who interfere, and it is time to lose these laws that keep them held back to be the leadership that they need for them and us as a whole.
I have learned more about how to protect the land we occupied and grew up on because of their ways their traditions and their knowledge. And I truly believe they are overcomers in many different ways.
Something we should all want to strive and discover around the world.
All indigenous people are subjected to many ways of genocide and horrible situations.
They are all safe keepers of the land and have been stripped of their opportunities, and lives have been torn apart. He and many others know we are all a reflection of those in charge, and when we are not thriving nore
are we prepared or given the opportunity to do so than we are all suffering.
When leaders oppress, you have turmoil and unrest.
When the ppl thrive that too is a reflection of those who help along the way. I am proud to be on walking and learning on your lands and learn all around the world.
You all have had such adversity and been silenced.
We know not one person is greater than the other, not one nation is better than the other, we are all here to teach not hold back knowledge, we are all here to give not take, we are all here to protect the land not destroy the land or their ppl.
I am proud to be the custodian of your land. I want to be the reflection of those value who needs help to clean up the views that are a built on lies and give clarity to those left in the dark.
I see you, I hear you, and I am here to help. Even if I am not one of you. I am a reflection of you. I want to help through words or in prayer.
I will always advocate for those who have been negligeleted when they should have been respected and valued and thanked. I will always want to help preserve these values.

Indicative and shows where their head is at, when they explain oh there's a landslide, or a massive fire, but were not discussing why it happened, and tell people to flee situations that they were not the problem for. when it takes First Nations to take to a helicopter ride for themselves to see the lay of the land, that's when they can do what like Wiliams Lake BC did, take flight in a helicopter I also suggest, get an infrared camera and see the land they are being affected by, land, plant trees to buffer land values, then you tell Ottawa there are treaties to cover the cost, talk with a treaties lawyers, help pay for . mitigation in disaster management.

So you kick them off the rez but you won't try to go and scare them straight with the false face society and won't give them time in the sweat lodge and won't give them ayahuasca or even give them a alternative to their addictions taking them over, you should be trying to heal them instead of throw them away, and if they don't want to be healed then let them go figure it out for themselves. It takes a long time to snap out of addiction,I struggle with the government cannabis and goverment tobacco addictions I know it's killing me, I went through the same thing I had to change, I watched so many people at shelter almost die from overdosing the amount of bad drugs that were in brockvile ontariowouod make you sick to your stomachs. Sometimes it the best thing to do, they need Togo on vision quests and find there true selves instead of being fueled by bad drugs. That is sad to see. I'm sorry I hope things will get better and they will make a positive effort to change there ways.

the drugs they are talking about and their precursors are all imported, not made in canada. and they are engineered to be hopelessly addictive.
what is the point of customs if they can't stop this stuff at the boarder? it is not just a reserve problem, these drugs are killing people in all the cities. i applaud their efforts (although evicting users seems very right wing), but i fear the deaths will continue unless it is stopped at the source.

This is a direct result of how the European settlers were convinced to leave their homelands. The poorest of civilians were rounded up off farms, out of alleys and dockside bars and summarily evicted, left to their own devices. Fast forward to today, when their own mentally ill family gets lost in pain and drug use, they get kicked to the curb. Their laws about trespassing, are a direct result of being on stolenland, and they know it, so, they double down with laws like this. The resentment that they feel is redirected to the ones who can't defend themselves, for it is easier to stroke your ego on a wimp than a tough guy.
