For context: seungmin and Felix have a series (done during livestreams) called daengyang school (puppy cat school) where they ATTEMPT to make something and they’ve always failed. They’ve failed at pancakes, lollipops, and smoothies as far as I know, but there could be more.
Felix can cook on his own well, but adding seungmin just does smth

@@angietoonz6605 he was with Hyunjin on distraction mode - dancing & going for a kiss - he wouldn’t show his face on camera with no make-up (it may have also been he hadn’t shaved) at the time they were filming this one they were still the ‘need makeup on camera’ phase
The funny thing is Felix can bake really well but the minute he and Seungmin are together in the kitchen💀Everything goes out the door😂

To clear up some things (and also just kinda put the mistakes/"mistakes" in a list):
- They were trying to make souffle pancakes (Super fluffy ones), and for that you have to whip the egg whites (which is why its white at the beginning), but they didn't have a handmixer or something to do it for them, so they had to whip to stiff peaks by hand (as an impatient and lazy person, it takes long enough with an electronic device, I can't imagine doing it by hand)
- mistake 1, then they ended up over mixing after the stiff peaks, so no longer super fluffy pancakes. So the batter was too runny for a normal pan, which he put oil in.
- mistake 2, no oil/butter in the new pan (they rinsed it out in the sink and tried again ft. Hyunjin x Han intermission) (the oil is what "it" was at like 12:03)
- "mistake 3", added too much oil in one of the circles so they had to dab it out or something
- mistake 4 (but kinda had a recovery), pancake 2 folded when Felix used the chopstick to get it to flip. Recovery is that it cooked together again (i think)
- "mistake 5", giant blocks of butter before the pancakes were even off the stove. Although maybe this was something like melting the butter on it for more flavor in the pancake cuz it would soak in and it was easily fixed. Those were some CHUNKS of butter tho
- mistake 6, easiest one: burnt
- Hyunjin playing their songs: "Ta" (aka "burnt" in Korean as the captions say), "Mixtape: On Track" (highlighting the lyrics "Even a fool knows" and "It's too late" to tease about the burnt pancakes), and "Slump"
- ah yes the iconic "[I/You] made a mess" line (there could be a compilation video of all the times they've said this)
- KFC is Colonel Sanders (in case some of yall have never read "colonel" bc idk how many non-native English speakers may see this/anyone who hasn't seen the word in written format, it is for some reason pronounced "kernel" like a popcorn kernel)
- Han Jisung was the one who said the "KFC guy" thing. He was there for like the second half of the livestream but was mostly behind the camera
Can't wait to see what videos you choose to watch next bc you always make it a good time! I quite enjoy how even if the video you're reaction to is a six minute video, it ends up being a 20 minute reaction!
Also someone had mentioned on your last Lee Know video to react to one of him and Felix since he has such a soft spot for Lix. I second that and hope it's on your list, and if not, add it on!

All I got for Christmas was stuff that I wanted and my mom paid for and money from my grandma.
It is a real consistency you can create with eggs, sugar, and flour. But it depends on how you're trying to make them. They basically want them to be really fluffy. (Still watching.) But I personally don't make pancakes enough to really talk super detail about it.
Edit: that mixing is a whole mood for me because I had to do the same thing when I made a cheese cake. It came out amazing... but dear lord, never again without a mixer. 😂

So they wanted to make the fluffy pancakes (like the Japanese fluffy ones) they use that weird pan again, but first felix put oil in the other pan and then they also took the cubes of butter off and put it into the other pan and they must have had the heat way too high, hence them burning. Then hyunjin is teasing them with their song ta, etc. Its always chaotic with them
I bought myself a laptop for christmas and finally got a break from work so for me it was chill and healing. Hope everyone else enjoyed time off school or work and had time with friends, family, and partners.
Also, hope none of your family ruined the food like these cuties keep ruining pancakes 😅
