Your motor drivers appear to be daisy chained (red wire at the bottom of each one). Each red wire should be run to a terminal block instead. Also, the braided shielding of each cable in the enclosure should be soldered to a wire (ground drain) and all joined to a grounding bus bar. Corvetteguy50 covers this really well in several of his videos. You can also add noise supressor power EMI filters to power the VFD and the power supplies.

I no longer use FreeCAD unfortunately, I gave up with it due to many frustrations I had with its user interface. Still a great tool for basic CAD work, but as soon as things get complex it falls short in my opinion.

You mentioned difficulty in executing the 16 mm holes through the box sheet metal. I’d recommend using a multi / step drill, as they do a good job of making clean and accurate holes in sheet metal, and following up with the same from the breakout side will chamfer that side.
    16 mm = .629”, 5/8” = .625”, which is a common step drill step size.

Of course! seems so obvious now you've said it. I have those in the workshop I just didn't think to use it. Probably could have done both the 16 and 20mm with the same bit. Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻

Hi , you make the electronics sound so simple . I'm in the process of wiring my fixed gantry router . Can you give me more detail on the AC power to switch & breaker connections before it goes to the PSU

two notes regarding your layout your VDF cable should be as far as possible from signal cables because noise can not be totally eliminated even with shielded cables. Maybe metal back panel would be better than wood to help reducing heat from the inverter.

Been running this machine for 500+ hours now, including long jobs lasting 18+ hours. I've never once had a signal interference problem, or any problem for that matter

If the fans are insanely loud, you could try running them at 12 volts.
The other option is noise-cancelling headphones.
