You took it all away so now this hero cries in pain”now guessing this refers to passive getting bullied so now he gets back by acting evil? “And thats a part of life” obvious hatred twords dream, maybe because the og!nightmare feels he’s too oblivious to the troubles of life? “Take it in stride, meeting your eyes, planning all night remember those times?” The first part is what i perceive when Nightmare first got corrupted the second part maybe with his gang? “Wallowing away in things i know i just cant change” maybe hatred at himself for eating the apple? “Laughing at jokes, getting so close, didn’t we know that time goes so slow?” I’m guessing hatred for not being able to spend enough time with dream before corruption “I’ll say goodbye to everything! Ah~” ok thats an obvious hint of offing oneselves (Note: i will be deciphering the purple and grey in my replies)
Ok so the gray, maybe worry? lines: “can’t see what’s ahead at all i guess we’re gonna travel blind, though i shouldn)t care at all im just another drop of water in the sea” he’s worried about the future, maybe bout change or something, the “another drop of water in the sea” may be reffering how he worries about people leaving him for someone better The purple lyrics: “holding you tight, fighting all night, telling me why but i cant re-write, the memories i made of you and me win’t go away” maybe again something to do with dream? When they had disagreements? Ok all in all Nightmare has big sad

Stone!Nightmare also isn't "talking" only about Dream, but about everyone in the room and about the times they spent living and fighting, saying that even if he's now stone, he still remembers all of that and those memories are going through his head on loop since he can't do anything else. Died Young Nightmare by saying "I'm just another drop of water in the sea" somewhat starts to blame Dream from his AU, because his Dream just moved on and never did something to the villagers who beat Nightmare to death, but then, by adding the red "And that's a part of life" he now scares Dream as if saying "you never could change your past mistakes and can't have a good ending with your brother". And Hate!Nightmare is saying that he feels better after being overtaken by Hate and doesn't care about what he did to his gang or his brother anymore, since he can't feel anything right now, but also saying that Nightmare, the corrupted one, probably lost everything and was crying while being overtaken by Hate, since that AU isn't a nice one.
