    Almost a manual to rear ender of your riding partner at the 1:57 mark. We rode that thing into an oncoming thunderstorm with about a 40 mph headwind, and it sucked. Hilarious that you commented on the braking bumps, because I hit those at that exact spot and it almost chattered me off the trail to the right!

    Fruita is rad….flow for days…I live like 3 hrs away and we would go there in the spring since like 1996…riding hardtails amd there was only like 2 trails there amd the kokopelli across the way from 18 rd….fruita is a good place to camp amd bike and drink beers and go for bike rides right from camp after drinking beers and shrooming…it was our go to place after a long ski season amd finally get some pedaling in when the ski resort shuts down….it was kind of a secret spot back in the 90’s…we always aid it was gonna blow up and get popular…we would hardly see anyone back im the 90’s there..or felt really offgrid but now there’s pizza places in town amd a bike shop on every corner so yea good for Fruita for turning into a dusty little town into a mtn bike Mecca

    I watched Alex " Singletracksampler " ride that, and it was just as much fun watching you ride it also!! One of these day's I have to get up there from the Sedona area, and do that ride myself...

      If you get down here to Sedona, you may also want to try Deadhorse Ranch state park ( Google video mtn biking in Deadhorse ranch ) Fun without the crowds of Sedona!!!

    Aweeesome!!! One question, which garmin do you have in the stem?

    • @Esteb858
      @Esteb858 7 років тому

      Mtb Benicadell it looks like the Garmin Edge 20 or 25. Both look the same but the 25 has a few more features.

    • @stewartsummerside2971
      @stewartsummerside2971 7 років тому

      Esteb858 How do you get the garmin mount to sit on the steerer tube ?

    • @Esteb858
      @Esteb858 7 років тому

      K-Edge makes a few options. There's a Gravity Mount that replaces the top cap so you'd mount it right on top of the steerer tube and there's a stem mount that would have the Garmin mounted right in front of the top cap above the stem.

      Thank you very much I'll have a look on k-edge website 👍👍👍

    Nice clip. But where do you put your GoPro, is it more on the chest or on the belly? and do you use an external mic?
    Would be nice to see an article about your GoPro gear, settings and so on your blog. THX

    • @SGMTB
      @SGMTB 7 років тому +1

      I've asked the same audio question. They use the external mic of the gopro. They've found it to be quite good, and my personal experience supports that when using it with a wind muffler.

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  7 років тому

      We just use a windscreen over the internal mic on the GoPro.

    • @ulf-soma
      @ulf-soma 7 років тому

      How did you put it on the mic? did you glue it?

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  7 років тому

      Double sided 3m tape

    • @ulf-soma

      I thought about it but was not sure...bought a little deadcat maybe I cut it in little pieces and stick it on the GP.
      thanks so far.

      Grand Junction offers way better riding than Fruita in my opinion. We'll have more GJ on the way!
