On the XT1 Enduro Series LT46 V - twin cylinder Kohler 7000 series engine there are two spark plugs, one on each side of the engine (don't forget). Kohler recommends changing them every 500 hours. I've only got 97 hours on my 2016 XT1.

I’m guessing the gas tank has to be removed also in order to reach the 4th screw on the hood???

How do you take the hood off to put the spark plug in?

Exactly pretty worthless video without showing how the hood is removed.

Only a trained mechanic can remove the hood. I take mine in, have them remove the hood, return home and do the spark plug, and have the trained mechanic reattach the hood. Works for me, and only cost $80, excluding gas.

Plug can go in while hood is on. However to remove the hood, tilt it forward, disconnect headlights and lift

You lost me the instant you mentioned "champion" spark plugs....champion is the worst spark plug there is and I know this from 30 years of experience in auto racing....I only run ngk and occasionally an acdelco but only because ngk actually makes a lot of acdelco's spark plugs for them. Champion spark plugs are garbage.
