Anes: Well made video. Also, I like the voice over method or even just typing it out on the screen like the "New Yorkshire Woodworker" does rather that talking through it live. A German living in the UK? That's a bit of a different one! I am a Brit living in Pennsylvania in the US since 1990. I learned woodworking at school only. During CV-19 I decided to start to put a shop together and invested in machines. I bought some of those machines you mention in the video (Felder) and even a 5' x 10' CNC Router with ATC. I have a close friend who is a CNC genius so this helps. I had worked for a Swedish company (a sister company to Gotwald) and they screwed me over resulting in a separation a few months ago. Fortunately I had made enough $$$ to retire at 57 and search for new horizons in my life. Woodworking is one of them. My whole basement and 3 car garage is an almost completed woodworking shop. The two things I need to finish is 1) Woodwoking bench, and 2) Assembly table. I'm drawing on inspiration from several guys like yourself for ideas. Dennis from "Hooked on Wood" has good modern ideas on this and many more others. One thing I am trying to avoid is getting on the "FESTOOL" bandwagon. The shit is too expensive. Anyhoo, I enjoyed the video and I also watched it in it's entirety. I usually skip through and fast forward. Good job, and good luck on your journey!
Thanks man :) yeah im still far away from a complete shop. Regarding your assembely table i just bought a used standing desk and put some weels on it. Its been really usefull not just for assembely but also as a second hand in the shop.
Great build. Nice to see you got the same kit as the rest of us ie no cnc or other seriously expensive bits so it’s far more achievable for us mere mortals… Well done,I’m a subscriber…
Out of all the benches I’ve seen. This is the one I’m gonna build. I think you did a great job, and your English is perfect lol. You just got another subscriber 👍🏻
Brilliant. I am a little behind you in experience, but love the way you show pragmatic ways through some interesting problems. I feel inspired 🙂. Looking forward to your next video
Love the rounding on the corners and again on the vice, Subscribed looking forward to more content.. very nicely done. and hey, your English is fine for Australian ear's.
Great video I enjoyed watching. I’m thinking the horizontal drill press could be used as a wood lathe simply by adding a tailstock assembly on the opposite side. Add a banjo by installing it to T-track. Might not be your thing but at least I’m not commenting on tool safety. Seems others have that covered. 🙄
I've watched both of your videos now and it's great to see someone being a woodworker, explaining what they are doing and why. Given that these are your first two videos you have done a fantastic job with them. So, I've subscribed and I am really looking forwards to what your channel brings. Great stiff.
Great video - thank you! Please, please, please don't ever have your left hand below the base of your trim router like that - if the router bit catches and the router kicks back, you could easily find your router in your hand or arm before you know it. Be safe! Subscribed 🙂
Anes, your English sounded fine. One thing I've learned (been speaking American English my whole life) from traveling is that English is both syntactically complicated and varying among the countries that speak it and the regions within those countries that speak it. lol Nice work on the bench. Rounding the the front vise's jaw was a nice touch. Really add something to the look of the bench, but also removes the likelihood of hitting the more sensitive areas of your body with sharp or blunt corners. Well done Sir!
Your bench turned out quite well. Nicely done. Consider getting a quality set of Forstner bits. Those giant drill bits are too aggressive you’ll break a wrist. The difficulty you had setting the top over the legs was because the PVA glue had swollen the tenons. Something with longer open time like Thixo or polyurethane glue makes things like this much easier. Chamfered dovetails look great! When you drill or screw a bunch of holes you can’t use, whittle pieces of wood to fit them and tap them in with glue the flush cut.
Yeah i really need to get a good set of forstner bits... I love using pu glue, defenetly need to get some! just wanted to keep the build a little cheaper
I had a plastic one that came with the mashine and it broke on like the third time using it... Since then ive just been using random chunks of wood. I need to make a proper one one day
@@AnesCreates I don't have a table saw, but I have heard good things about the Microjig Gripper, and Milescraft makes a similar but lower priced version of the push-thingy. Please google it, because those cust looks unnecessary dangerous :)

This is a beautiful, and beautifully made, bench. I will be ruthlessly copying it over the next few months! Great 1st video.
Feel free to ask me any questions along the way :)
Well done kiddo wishing you success for the future nice bench
Great work man! Also your English is fine. It's significantly better than my Deutsch anyways.
Awesome. Saw your post on Reddit and here I am!!

Great work; the drill attachment...what an inspiration...thanks...my bench is about to get a facelift...
Would love to see it when its done!
Great work!
Thanks för sharing
brilliant bench, video and editing!
Good effort with both the bench and the video production.
with that drill on the side its almost like a mortise router. its an amazing example of craftsmanship.
That was the idea 👍
Man , I can remember like it was yesterday all the frustrations from doing dumb shit when i started woodworking. Keep at it, it gets way better.
holy bench Anesman! badass build, also, nice whiskers
🥸

Yes liked this video, and helped me plan for my own build. Thanks
Good luck with your build! Feel free to ask me anything you need to know during your build
Fantastic workbench build - congratulations on such a well crafted bench and video. Superb first video - subscribed 👍
Thank you so much :)
exelente video muy inspirador gracias !!!!
Great build video!
Found you on TikTok and followed you here. Great video can’t wait to see what your next project is!
Thank you :) im almost done building it so ill get to edeting soon
fantastic build. Gained a new sub
at 1:00 watch out for your sleeve getting caught by the blade, this is so dangerous
It looks a lot closer in the video then it is, there is about 5cm between my hand and the blade
Don't use loose long sleeves please my friend.

Awesome build, however please use a push stick when pushing boards through like that, dont want to see you lose a finger
I had a plastic one that came with the mashine and it broke on like the third time using it... Since then ive just been using random chunks of wood. I need to make a proper one one day

Please get a push block. Don’t lose a digit.
Why use treated wood? Are you leaving the bench outside?
I couldnt find untreated wood for the same price, i would have prefered untreated.
thanks for the video. but your tablesaw skills are... hilarious ;) please work on safety mate
Why not just epoxy the nut for the vise in the wood
Fine bench, but unfortunately a great example on how not to operate woodworking machines too.
lol
