EVENT: EUROPEAN & SALEM WITCHUNTS (17th Century)
HISTORY IN A VERY BAD NUTSHELL:
Things got crazy and people started accusing others (women mostly) of being witches. There were a lot of stupid things done to determine if they were a witch or not. (My personal favourite being the one where they toss them into a river and if they floated, they were deemed a witch🤦) Then they would usually hang or burn them at the stake.
40,000 - 60,000 probably innocent people were executed.

Ooh, I love the topic of the Salem Witch Trials.
Such a dark time, full of tragedy, anger and sadness, but yet so interesting.
Not just Salem, but honestly the witch trials everywhere else were just as interesting, Salem is just more famous
I think you could tell it was more than Salem tho, given the European countries in the video as well

YES! YES! FINALLY! I'm so sorry, but I never see countryhumans content surrounding the Salem Witch Trials, or any witch trial for that matter. The animation is so cool and it is amazing. Can't wait for the whole map.
