Now it is obvious that the SSIS developer didn't include the TRUNCATE step when he was developing and testing, and the numbers kept adding up without being truncated. He was fired later that day. 🤔

Good video. This is the first one I found that actually deals with a table that has fields that are NOT being converted, and explains that they can be simply passed through. Everything else focuses solely on the conversion with no thought given to what else is along for the ride.
